Job Description

1) Liaise between suppliers, different sales sites, customers and factories.

2) Work closely with the design and engineering team of suppliers , customers and internal design centre in Japan and factories in Japan and Thailand.

3) Comprehend customer’s stipulated motor and base-plate design requirements

4) Review and resolve mould and part design matters / DFMs with solutions fit for volume production

5) Engage in the whole qualification / support cross functional audit of motor base assembly and base-plate production by customer and end customers.

6) Follow up with factories in Japan on data package preparation, sample preparation and prompt submission to customer

7) See through the product until it achieves customer’s final approval

8) Responsible for sales budgeting and forecasting

9) Resolve engineering/quality/cleanliness issues with suppliers and factories to ensure no disruption to customers

10) Manage day to day sales activities

11) To update Japan HQ on sales progress and translate English documents into Japanese language and Japanese work instructions / technical drawings into English language.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent

• Min 2 years relevant sales experience in Japanese manufacturing MNC

• Good supporting knowledge in motor/base-plate mould and fabrication design

• Familiar with motor base assembly and base-plate manufacturing/machining processes/sequences

• Possess positive attitude, good inter-personal skills, strong leadership, self driven and able to work under stress and deliver assigned tasks under short notices

• Good problem solving / presentation / written skills

• Able to communicate with Japanese customers / vendors who speak little English.

• Able to translate documents & technical drawings from English to Japanese language

• Possess Class 3 driving license

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

· Establish relationship with customers by delivering excellent customer service

· Provide professional skincare advice and consultation for customers, managing customers’ needs and ensure customer satisfaction

As Sales Executive, you will build relationship with customers, which may be end users, to understand needs and offers solution within a standard framework or range on pricing and margin. Services and supports existing customer accounts in assigned local geographic area, with a limited sales target or quota.

How You Will Do It:

• You will be responsible for expanding after-sales services (parts and services sales) for HVAC systems & Fire solutions to commercial ship owners, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
• This is a Hunter role, where you will leverage from our installed base to identify and engage potential customers, end users, and influencers. Collaborate with Services support team to grow after sales offerings
• Sales process ownership. Create quotations, specifications and sales proposals and manage the entire sales cycles from initial contact to closing
• Strategic relationship building by gaining a deep understanding of the decision-making processes within customer’s organization to secure successful outcomes
• Ability to connect, and nurture strong customers relationship with key influencers and expanding your network within the customer base to drive business growth
