Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for assisting with the execution of marketing strategies, supporting day-to-day marketing operations, and helping to drive overall marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Campaign Support:
Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns across multiple channels (email, social media, digital, print, etc.).
Coordinate with external vendors, creative teams, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of campaign materials.
Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
Content Creation and Management:
Assist in creating and editing marketing content, including blog posts, social media posts, newsletters, and email campaigns.
Help manage the content calendar and ensure all content aligns with the company’s messaging and branding guidelines.
Support in maintaining and updating website content as needed.
Market Research & Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
Compile and analyze data to support marketing decision-making and improve campaign effectiveness.
Assist in customer segmentation, targeting, and positioning strategies.
Event and Promotion Support:
Help plan and execute marketing events, including webinars, trade shows, and product launches.
Coordinate event logistics, including invitations, materials, and follow-up communications.
Administrative & Operational Support:
Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, organizing project files, and maintaining marketing calendars.
Assist with tracking marketing budgets, invoices, and expenses.
Collaborate with sales teams to ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and sales goals.
Reporting & Documentation:
Generate and maintain marketing reports to track KPIs and performance metrics.
Prepare presentations and reports for stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
1-3 years of experience in a marketing support role or similar position.
Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and marketing tools (CRM systems, Google Analytics, social media platforms, email marketing software).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
A passion for marketing and a willingness to learn and grow in the field.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML/CSS.
