The Marketing Specialist (Sales & Marketing Assistant) is responsible for creating and maintaining various types of content and driving marketing efforts in collaboration with distribution and direct system integration partners.
The role involves creating and disseminating customer communications, developing sales materials, ensuring the up-to-dateness of online and offline media, and managing reference cases. Additionally, the associate will focus on building strong relationships with partners, supporting their marketing activities, and providing them with necessary sales and marketing materials. The associate will also be involved in planning and executing local events, including trainings, seminars, exhibitions, and community events. Furthermore, the role encompasses media relations and social media engagement, including establishing relationships with key media partners, co-developing media content, initiating interviews and industry awards participation, and leading social media content creation and engagement.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation and Maintenance
- Creating and distributing customer communications, including sales mailings and regular partner updates.
- Developing sales materials such as one-pagers, catalogs, and presentations (e.g., PowerPoint). Ensure online platforms (e.g., websites) and offline materials (e.g., product catalogs) are kept up-to-date.
- Overseeing the creation and execution of reference cases, including write-ups and videos, with English translation as needed.
Driving Marketing Efforts of Partners
- Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with distribution partners and direct accounts.
- Assisting with their marketing initiatives and providing necessary sales and marketing materials.
Local Event Support
- Planning, organizing (including the invitation process), and executing trainings and seminars, along with post-event evaluations.
- Coordinating and delivering exhibitions and Q-SYS community events in collaboration with business partners.
Media Relations and Social Media Engagement (B2B)
- Building and maintaining relationships with key media partners.
- Collaborating on media content creation, including copywriting and English translation, and managing distribution.
- Initiating interviews and facilitating participation in industry awards.
- Leading social media content creation and engagement activities.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in both written and spoken English; proficiency in other Asian languages is a plus.
- Strong communication skills are essential for effectively collaborating with local teams, partners, and stakeholders.
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications or specialized training in marketing or content creation are advantageous.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar position, with prior roles in marketing, content creation, or related fields required.
- Experience in B2B marketing, with familiarity in Southeast Asian market dynamics and cultural nuances, is highly beneficial.
- Proven ability to create engaging and persuasive content for various marketing channels, including written materials, presentations, and social media platforms.
- Strong copywriting and editing skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and organizing events, such as trainings, seminars, and exhibitions, including managing invitation processes and post-event evaluations.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners, direct accounts, and media partners.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric mindset, with a focus on effective stakeholder collaboration.
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and social media platforms.
- Experience managing social media channels, creating engaging content, and analyzing performance metrics is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and adapt to different cultural norms and practices.
