Responsibilities

• Understand the market and find new avenues to generate business to hit department targets
• Find new avenues of growth through long-term service contracts to augment ad-hoc business.
• Assist in preparing proposals and quotations for incoming enquiries
• Prepare information and assist the Manager with tender submissions
• Provide input and assist with new digital and traditional marketing campaigns
• Follow up on submitted proposals and work closely with the Manager to foster strong relationships with customers
• Create and track submitted proposals and report status to the Manager
• Develop an appropriate network of industry contacts and reach out with direct marketing tools
• Liaise with manufacturers of products to study problems, troubleshoot technical questions and relay information back to Manager
• Represent at trade exhibitions and events as required
• Accompany the Manager for client meetings as needed.

Join a major life insurer as a sales support for their Financial Advisory division and work with the sales leaders in ensuring all documentations including balance scorecards and fact find applications comply.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform checks on representatives’ fact-find forms.
• The checks are supplementary to what the sales leaders have reviewed.
• Pick out administrative errors including incorrect calculations, documentation inconsistencies and other administrative errors.
• Provide list of errors to sales leaders for their next action.
• Data entry of information into Excel for tracking and reporting purpose.

Experience

• Experience as a Financial Advisor or in sales admin support for Life Insurance
• Experience in reviewing fact find for Balanced Scorecard Framework is preferred but not mandatory

• Present the proposed solution to client representatives, then negotiate a deal within predetermined commercial constraints.

Requirements:

• Diploma and above
• At least 5 years of Sales experience in Marine Sector.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in developing strategic sales plans.
