ORGANISATION

This role reports directly to the Managing Director based in Singapore and will be in charge of driving growth of new equipment sales, spare parts and services in an assigned region in Southeast Asia.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales management: Influence, shape and implement the sales and marketing strategy with a particular focus on key assigned markets. Originate and close opportunities to develop new market segments, product groups and channels.

Account management and marketing: Build and develop established relationships with key customers such as shipyards and owners, and technical consultants. Lead all business development and marketing activities to achieve sustainable profitable growth.

Strategy planning: Take a proactive support role to plan and prepare the annual budget and sales forecasts and execute specific plans to meet the target. Regular provision of information for planning and forecast via sales force

Operational management: Align sales with factory’s manufacturing capacity. Work in close cooperation with all key functions and help to maximize the capabilities of the business. Manages sales process, coordinates and negotiates proposals in cooperation with technical team, internal functions, other involved professionals and management.

YOUR PROFILE

· Diploma or Degree in Engineering, preferably in Marine, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical field.

· You have a strong and successful sales experience of around 5 to 10 years in marine industry, preferably selling capital equipment’s.

· You are a strong networker and to-the-point communicator who is able to build and maintain a solid internal and external network.

· You have good interpersonal skills and can interact easily and influence all levels of stakeholders.

· You are result driven and persistent to drive towards company targets.

· You are willing to travel in the region.

General office administration duties
Assist Sales personnel in the day to day sales operation of the company;
Prepare documents such as purchase orders, invoices and quotations.
Co-ordinate with warehouse/suppliers to arrange delivery/ shipment schedule
Handle ad-hoc tasks assigned from time to time
Attend phone calls and emails.
Performs data entry and filing tasks.

Proficient in using computer especially Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
Ability to work independently, identify and solve problems.
Ability to organize and prioritize work.
Ability to multi-task and is resourceful.
Team player
Committed with strong sense of responsibility.
Diploma and above
SAP experience preferred

ROLE

 To bring in quality business and increase Company’s market share in the security industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 To achieve the sales target set by the company.

 Ensure payments are received; and settle any dispute that may arise.

 To handle yourself professionally so as to upkeep the image and prestige of the company.

 Provide on the ground support for sales team as they generate leads and close new deals.

 To communicate and ensure that the installation contractors and our project team are familiar with the requirements of the projects, and to see to it that the job is properly and professionally carried out.

 Develop plans for the sales team to acquire new customers or clients, through direct sales techniques, cold calling, and business to business marketing visits.

 Submit daily activity report to Sales Manager

 To attend daily meeting and provide updates

 To perform Technical work when required

 To perform research and development on new products

 Any other duties assigned by Head of Department
