Overview of the role

Responsibilities and duties (include but not limited to)

Sales Management

• Leads the development and implementation of the sales plan to deliver revenue and margin targets driving P&L growth.
• Ensures alignment with overall sales strategy and priorities whilst anticipating local complex issues, challenges and opportunities.
• Effectively communicates the overall sales strategy and business plan to the sales team, ensuring every member of the team understands how they personally contribute to achieving business aims and values. • To assign sales budget to each member of the sales team in accordance with the respective region.

• Supports the team to configure complex, high value tailored or bespoke product and service solutions and associated contractual terms that meet the customer's strategic goals. Reviews and authorises sales proposals to ensure that these are constructed within acceptable commercial and risk parameters.

As the Consumables Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of direct reports, overseeing their performance, and driving sales initiatives. Your role will be pivotal in meeting and exceeding sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction within this critical high-growth segment of the PerkinElmer portfolio. This role will oversee the KOSJ region (Korea, Oceania, Southeast Asia and Japan) and a team of 10 members.

• Meet and exceed your team targets, including total booked order value and associated margin
• Monitor individual and team performance, implementing strategies to exceed goals
• Ensure team is generating sales pipeline by meeting outbound sales activity targets including daily phone calls, customer conversations, quote deliveries, and order conversions
• Set team direction by developing and executing on data-driven action plans to improve sales performance

Job and Educational Qualifications

Job Summary

The Sales Engineer will be based in Singapore and is accountable to generate profitable sales revenue and increase operating income by broadening sales coverage, establishing new accounts, and providing total solutions for compressed air to customers in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Identify and source new clients and business prospects (e.g., perform outreach to cold leads via calls and emails).
• Achieve sales target set for area of responsibilities and industries by building and maintaining close relationships with customers (incl. customer visits) to solicit for orders.
• Negotiate tender, contract terms and condition and prepare Sales contract.
• Prepare sales report, analysing cost and sales, quotations and maintaining and creating new client accounts.
