· Meet customers and generate enquiries to develop potential spare parts / maintenance contract business, build and develop assigned accounts and relationship, site assessments, etc.
· Hunt for new potential customers, via cold calls, to meet and exceed sales order Intake.
· Promote sales of new pumps / replacements, spare parts (i.e., pump parts and mechanical seals) and maintenance contracts, to new and existing customers.
· Attend promptly to enquiries and understand customers’ needs in order to fulfil their requirements.
· Validate on commercial and technical requirements before generating quotations to customers, with close follow-ups up till quotation status being closed.
· Assist Sales Manager in strategic planning and statics collection for the sales progress.
· Correspond with factories, KSB companies and contractors / dealers for support; in relation with terms of price, technical support / service, and delivery.
· Utilise and update CRM (C4C) database on registered products to installed base and customer visits records.
· Ensure proper handover of purchase order (in terms of technical and commercial with supporting document / costing sheet) to sales admin for order processing.
· Any other ad-hoc duties as per assigned by HOD.
