The Telemarketing Sales Representative is responsible for generating sales through outbound calls to potential clients, promoting products and services, and managing customer relationships. This role requires excellent communication skills, a persuasive personality, and the ability to handle objections while maintaining a positive relationship with customers.
Key Responsibilities:Outbound Calling:
Make a high volume of outbound calls to potential customers or leads, introducing them to products and services.
Sales Generation:
Sell products or services by identifying customer needs and promoting relevant offerings.
Customer Qualification:
Qualify leads by assessing their needs, budget, and readiness to purchase.
Script Adherence:
Follow provided sales scripts and guidelines, while also adapting to the customer's tone and requirements.
Product Knowledge:
Stay updated on product features, pricing, and promotional offers to answer customer questions accurately.
Objection Handling:
Overcome customer objections by using strong communication and negotiation skills.
Record Keeping:
Accurately document customer interactions, sales, and leads in the CRM system.
Target Achievement:
Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics set by the organization.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Reporting:
Provide regular updates on sales performance and pipeline status to managers.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma or equivalent.
- Proven sales experience, preferably in telemarketing or customer
service.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong listening skills and the ability to ask relevant questions.
- Persistence and resilience in handling rejection.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time available.
- Typically office-based, with some days allowing for Work From Home.
