Position Overview:
We are looking for a driven Sales Manager with a deep understanding of the Financial Services Industry to lead business development and customer relationship management in the ASEAN region. This individual will be responsible for driving sales and fostering strategic relationships with large financial institutions such as banks and insurance companies. The Sales Manager will sell innovative Edge Technology and Enterprise Solutions, helping clients navigate their digital transformation while ensuring long-term success and revenue growth.
Job Duties:
- Relationship Building: Establish and cultivate deep, professional relationships with key decision-makers in assigned customer accounts, including C-level executives and senior management.
- Account Planning: Orchestrate the account planning process, developing a clear account strategy, setting financial targets, and identifying critical milestones for 1–3 years.
- Sales Cycle Management: Manage complex sales cycles by leveraging both internal and external resources to ensure successful deal closure.
- Customer Needs Analysis: Continuously assess, clarify, and validate customer needs to ensure the solutions offered are aligned with their business objectives.
- Consultative Selling: Demonstrate consultative sales expertise, articulating clear and concise return on investment (ROI) value propositions to potential clients.
- Revenue Growth: Drive short-term sales results while maintaining a long-term perspective to ensure customer success and sustainable revenue generation.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate quarterly forecasting, tracking sales activities, and ensuring revenue delivery is in line with targets.
- Sales Strategy Alignment: Align sales activity with the organization’s business strategy, ensuring that goals and targets are consistently met or exceeded.
- Sales Operations Management: Plan, direct, and coordinate sales operations, analysing sales data to build effective sales plans and set realistic sales targets.
- Market Representation: Represent the company at industry sales and marketing conventions, trade exhibitions, and other key events to drive brand awareness and generate leads.
Key Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Must have at least a bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, or Accounting or any related field.
- Professional Experience:Minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of work experience in selling business solutions, specifically within major service or software vendors.
- Industry Expertise: Proven sales experience working with large banks or insurance companies in the ASEAN region.
- Build Network: Ability to build strong connections with IT departments within financial institutions.
- Sales Performance:Demonstrated consistency in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Digital Solutions Knowledge:Preferably experienced in selling banking or insurance-related digital solutions to relevant enterprises.
- Key Account Management: Proven track record of managing key accounts effectively, building long-term, strategic partnerships.
- Credibility with Senior Leaders:Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, including CxO executives.
- Language Proficiency:Advanced proficiency in English and Japanese, enabling effective communication with Japanese-speaking clients.
- Customer-Centric: Strong orientation toward customer service with a genuine desire to help clients succeed.
