Position:
• One full-time role
• Monthly regular regional and international travel are required
• Teleconference with overseas customers outside of local working hours is required
Qualifications & Experiences:
• BS/BA from an accredited college or university preferred
• Minimum five years of sales and account acquisition experience in the special chemical industry, preferably branded ingredients for personal care products
• Proven track records in B2B new corporate accounts development & acquisition and deal-closing are essential
• Experience working with ingredient distributors is advantageous
• Prior work experience in MNC is a bonus
• Experience in working with an international team is essential
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Experience with Salesforce and Shopify is required
• Excellent skill with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting tools
• Demonstrated command of analytical thinking, metrics-driven sales models and KPI’s
• Clear understanding of go-to-market strategies within the skincare and personal care ingredient markets across multi-channels
• Demonstrated skills and experiences in prospecting and managing sales pipelines
Job responsibilities:
• Report to the CEO or designated management team member.
• Take full ownership of achieving target sales revenues.
• Own the full cycle from deriving the lead generation strategy and plan, sales funnel design, designing customer journey and touch points, setting sale targets and KPIs, scouting for prospective B2B customers, developing target customer lists, conducting customer corporate mapping to come up with account-specific sales tactics, running both online (social media and email) and offline (trade show, contests) marketing and outreach campaigns, sourcing warm introductions, initiating and planning customer meetings, preparing and conducting pitch and presentations, developing account and customer relationship, initiating, negotiating and closing deals, preparing quotations and tax invoices working with accounts and logistics teams, following up with customers for payment, managing the process of product dispatch by giving clear information and directions to team members of warehouse, production and customer support, updating customers of their order status, checking in with customers after product delivery, managing customer experience pre- to post-sales, running customer satisfaction and feedback surveys.
• Act as the brand’s ambassador, developing goodwill and an excellent reputation by ensuring high-quality, pleasant, respectful, and professional customer interactions. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely responses
• Research and understand the industry and market trends to effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers.
• Ensure all target leads, contacts, opportunities, sales, and ongoing interactions with customers are recorded in Salesforce.
• Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
• For markets covered by distributors, work closely with distributors’ management, sales and commercial teams. Conduct weekly calls, sales training, customer presentations and sampling of products.
• Assist management in identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Responsible for driving the ingredient strategy to achieve maximum sales, profitability, and market share in accordance with projected sales goals and financial guidelines.
