What you'll do:

Responsibilities:

· Executes marketing and PR activities for GMT Singapore and Southeast Asia

Requirements:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head of People with implementation of HR policies, services and programs for the respective business
• Reinforce the company and HR strategy and directive into suitable communication to inform, influence, and engage employees toward the company objective
• Work closely with Centre of Excellence (CoE) to review area of improvement of HR policies, benefits, programs and ensure seamless execution of HR initiatives to the business and employees
• Provide local consultation, guidance, and support for managers on policy interpretation, performance, talent development, employee engagement, and employee relations and any other HR matters.
• Identifying / anticipating change management activities within the business area; driving and/or facilitating the change with any appropriate measure(s) and control the sustainability of change processes
• Participate in annual talent reviews and calibration sessions to support the identification and selection of talents and support succession planning initiatives.
• Be the catalyst to drive mobility through knowing the people ready to move and networking for potential opportunities
• Provide insights on local market trends, employee engagement, and talent management strategies.
• Drive the HR annual cycle (People Tempo) ie. annual performance calibration, salary review etc. within the partner business sector

Secondary Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with relevant labour laws, regulations and organizational policies in all HR activities and mitigate risk
• Ensure Ethics and Compliance approach and the respective rules and behaviors are respected and followed by employees
• Serve as the primary point of contact for personal data protection and responsible to ensure the Company Data Privacy Program implementation and its compliance

Job Requirements

• Degree in Business or HRM with at least 5 years HR experience in multinational environment
• Professional HR certification (SHRM, IHRP) is a plus
• Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines
• Strong knowledge of Singapore labor laws and HR best practices.
• Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with data analysis is a plus
• Have an engaging personality capable of represent HR to Business Leaders with a consultative approach
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, writing and communication skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment
• Comfortable working in a diverse environment, including with blue-collar workforce
