Role Overview
The Senior marketing and community manager will lead all facets of marketing, from strategy to execution for Viddsee Reels (Micro Dramas) across the region, including target segment analysis, content selection, marketing campaigns, re-engagement campaigns (push notifications/edms) and PR.
You will be reporting directly to our VP, Products and Platform.
Our head office is based in Singapore, but this role could potentially be based outside of Singapore.
Primary Responsibilities
Audience Understanding
- Reviewing Viddsee's existing users and understanding consumption patterns to understand how to market micros dramas to existing users and to new users.
- Understanding the micro drama format and micro dramas target segments to market to new users who are unaware of micro drams.
Marketing Strategy and Execution
- Identification of key target segments, plan marketing strategy and ensure that it is executed to hit key objectives and targets
Campaign Management
- Devise campaign strategies in harmony with business objectives and audience insights.
- Lead the team to execute campaign parameters, including budget allocation, audience targeting, creative assets and bidding strategies.
Retention and Engagement strategies
- Devise strategies for retention to increase watch time including content/title planning, in app push notifications and product changes
- Lead the team to execute retention strategies, including budget allocation, audience targeting, creative assets and messaging
Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare comprehensive reports detailing marketing performance, insights, return on investment (ROI), and actionable recommendations.
- Design and maintain dashboards to provide stakeholders with real-time visibility of campaign metrics.
- Undertake post-campaign analysis to extract valuable lessons and inform future strategies.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
Social Media and Community management
- Manage and oversee social media accounts for Viddsee reels ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
- Understand and use the main Viddsee account to acquire new and existing users to use the app
- Develop and implement effective social media strategies for community management, acquisition and retention
- Analyse social media performance and create reports to track engagement, reach, and ROI.
Collaboration and Communication
- Liaise with creative teams to ensure that advertising copy, visuals, and messaging are congruent with campaign and social media goals.
- Coordinate with the analytics team to validate data accuracy and derive actionable insights.
- Engage with external agencies or vendors, as required, to execute specialised campaign initiatives.
Key Skills and Competencies
- Experience in digital advertising platforms, including Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Tiktok Campaign Manager, and programmatic advertising platforms.
- Proficient in data analysis and interpretation to drive data-informed decision-making.
- Advanced knowledge of tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Excel/Google Sheets.
- Experience with A/B testing, audience segmentation, and retargeting techniques.
- Comprehensive understanding of attribution models, conversion tracking, and performance measurement.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey campaign performance and strategic insights.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their role in driving brand awareness and engagement.
- Impeccable attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns under stringent deadlines.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
- 5–10 years of experience in marketing management or a similar role.
- Understanding Mandarin is highly desirable.
- Leading a cross country marketing team is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of managing and optimising digital advertising campaigns across various platforms.
- A thorough understanding of SEO, SEM, integrated marketing strategies, and social media management tools.
