1 Digital Resource Officer from 1 Nov 2024 to 31 Jan 2025 (3 months)-Grange Rd
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:
· Mondays to Thursdays: 8:30am to 6:00pm, Fridays : 8.30am to 5.30pm
· Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
Role Overview:
The Digital Resource Officer is responsible for designing publicity materials and editing videos and movies. Demonstrate creativity and a keen eye for detail to effectively fulfil the role's requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Designing Publicity Materials:
· Proficient in using Canva to create visually appealing and engaging publicity materials, including posters, social media graphics, and promotional banners.
· Developing a consistent and visually appealing brand identity across all publicity materials.
2) Video and Movie Editing:
· Proficient in editing videos and movies using video editing software such as Microsoft Video Editor, Animaker to create captivating and informative visual content.
· Ability to propose storyboard and script based on key ideas and when given samples of existing videos to model after.
· Enhancing video and movie content with creative and engaging elements to effectively convey key messages.
Education:
· A diploma/ degree or certification in graphic design, multimedia arts, web development, or a related field is preferred.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Proficiency in Canva for graphic design and layout.
· Proficiency in Video Editing Software for video and movie editing (e.g. Windows Movie Maker, Animaker).
· Strong creative abilities and a good eye for detail.
· Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines.
· Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
Experience:
· Demonstrated experience in designing publicity materials and editing videos.
Portfolio showcasing previous work in graphic design and video editing is preferred.
