Our client, an up-and-coming fund manager with a venture capital (VC) business, and a multi family office setup, is looking to bring in a marketing and content associate. With new funds raised and new investments made, the marketing hire will play an important piece in branding the business, while bringing value for the portfolio companies under the VCs' care.

The marketing associate will be taking the lead for creation and updating of marketing materials and content, which includes update and improvement of firm's existing website, pitchdeck, marketing narratives, to development of video and podcast, which includes filming and editing.

We are targeting young marketing professionals with agency background, or fresh graduates with content creation experience (open to personal or professional). Purpose of the Job:

         Execute the sales delivery in the designated end market sector to meet sales forecasts and KPI’s. 

Key Responsibilities and Outcomes:

Sales Strategy and Delivery:

• Delivery of sales against agreed targets (directly or working with distributors)
• Use value added selling techniques to maximise sales opportunities
• Direct customer ownership and sales activity to deliver.

Sales Forecasting:

• Ensure accurate and transparent sales forecasting across accounts

Channel Management:

• Regular reporting using Rotork CRM on activities such as market intelligence, quotations, customer visits

Sales Support Leadership:

• Working collaboratively with Application Engineering, Customer contact, internal sales and other back office sales activities as required

People Leadership:

• Lead self to deliver against Rotork vision and strategy
• Driving change and growth with the right balance of entrepreneurial decision making and good corporate citizenship; ensuring decisions are made for One Rotork at all times

Budget Management:

• Fulfil reporting responsibilities, including performance and sales plans, forecasting and other KPIs

Project Pipeline and Project Oversight:

• Review project scope for products to be added onto Approved Vendor Lists and project specifications

Internal Collaboration:

• Work effectively through a matrix structure to build and maintain strong and productive internal relationships
• Adhere to governance tools and processes
• Feed business intelligence into Commercial function as required

• Ability to formulate Sales/Marketing Plan.

· Responsible for achieving the stipulated sales target set by company.

· Formulate offline sales strategy, develop, and organize the implementation of a comprehensive sales plan, lead the team to translate the plan into sales results.

· Actively seek out new sales opportunities by identifying and targeting potential customers in the enterprise software market, with a preference for those needing Edutech and Office Automation (OA) systems solution.

· Stay informed about software industry trends, competitive services, and market conditions.

· Create and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to potential customers.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing/new clients to understand their evolving needs, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

· Degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration or related

· 2 years or more of B2B software sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets. Prior sales experience in the Edutech and OA office software industry is desirable.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Must maintain high professional and technical knowledge standard.

· Fluency in English and Chinese to interactions with Mandarin-speaking clients or staff at the China branch.
