JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing Manager leads & oversees the Key Marketing functions of the hotel, restaurant, bar and social spaces. What’s the role?

Position Summary

The UN Global Compact Network Singapore (GCNS) is seeking a Marketing Communications Intern to join our team for an internship for 3 months, extendable upon performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop media and/or event materials including, but not limited to, media releases, speeches, anticipated Q&As, and responses to media queries
• Develop content (articles, posts, videos, and more) for communications platforms such as newsletters, websites and social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn
• Monitoring of media and social media sentiments to understand stakeholder perspectives for better formulation of communications strategies. Monitoring the SM channels for engagement and query response.
• Database Management: Identifying the topical media landscape for communications and identifying key media partners for GCNS flagship events.

Job Requirements

• Degree level qualification, preferably in Journalism and or marketing with specialization in communications
• Candidates with relevant experience in handling communications, digital marketing, and media engagement would be an advantage
• Excellent oral communication, personal credibility, and gravitas to operate amongst senior stakeholders internally and externally.
• Excellent proficiency in both verbal and written and able to adapt to a variety of styles required from corporate materials and media kits
• Good knowledge of the local media landscape and current affairs
• Good knowledge of integrated marketing
• Good presentation and interpersonal skills, including emotional sensitivity
• Independent, motivated and able to multi-task in a dynamic environment
• A team player with the ability to handle pressure under tight deadlines.

Analyze local market and consumer data; provide daily support to the countries and influence the brand strategy in the countries; feed international teams with local findings

- Collect and analyse consumer and market insights, share findings with the zone to ensure the consistency of new developments and marketing mix (IMC/360/Digital/Retail) with the countries’ needs

- Provide daily support to the countries to make the link between international and country teams; animate them and provide advice and expertise on the category, relay information and strategy

- Assist countries to create the right angle of attack locally to integrated, engaging consumer brand experiences

- Assist countries to animate pillar products and to monitor core catalogue

- Develop marketing and category expertise within the countries, in particular by sharing zone and country best practices

- Make recommendations on the category to feed into the zone strategy

- Effectively prepare clear messages for the senior management to present to senior management

Specific to selective divisions:

- Own the brand patrimony, guarantee the brand identity: ensure that all actions are in line with the sense of purpose while nourishing the brand

- Assess compliance of marketing materials (artworks, imagery, digital, point of sales) and proper implementation of retail recommendations

Marketing & Content Associate | Fund Manager | New Headcount

Our client, an up-and-coming fund manager with a venture capital (VC) business, and a multi family office setup, is looking to bring in a marketing and content associate. With new funds raised and new investments made, the marketing hire will play an important piece in branding the business, while bringing value for the portfolio companies under the VCs' care.

The marketing associate will be taking the lead for creation and updating of marketing materials and content, which includes update and improvement of firm's existing website, pitchdeck, marketing narratives, to development of video and podcast, which includes filming and editing.

We are targeting young marketing professionals with agency background, or fresh graduates with content creation experience (open to personal or professional). Experienced marketeers looking for fractional gigs will be welcomed. Candidates with a passion towards the wealth and investment management industry will be preferred.
