Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning, executing, and directing sales activities in local market to achieve sales objectives.
• Target channel: HORECA Trade
• Work closely with the marketing team and customers to coordinate and effectively execute marketing activities to generate higher sales volume
• Analyse and develop strategic planning to identify sales gaps
• Responsible for product promotion's proposal submission, negotiation, and execution
• Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major customers
• Drive sales and marketing objectives by developing and executing advertising and programs; creating sales action plans
• Continually monitors market, customer, and competitor developments
• Assisting collection of AR when required
• Any ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements

• Possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Business / Marketing or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is necessary
• Excellent customer service with communication and negotiation skills
• Minimum 2 years of experience in FMCG Sales / Marketing / Brand Management
• Trade background in the food service industry will be highly preferred

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Analyst to be a part of our team, to develop and implement innovative sales planning solutions that can support the sales operation cycle.

You will be working with different teams to collect and utilize data in our sales operation. You will also be responsible for translating human planning tasks into logic and creating automation modules using programming languages such as Python.

What you will be doing

• Manage the full data lifecycle, from gathering to visualisation.
• Conduct end-to-end data analysis and interpretation.
• Identify areas of gaps in data.
• Determine relevant course of action and monitor the execution of actions.
• Utilise Machine Learning techniques to identify relevant data attributes and maximize classifiers for a more robust analysis and modelling.
• Effectively present insights and discoveries through data visualisation methods.
• Support weekly sales operation to identify and transform data into data models and identify new measures to improve analysis.
• Support weekly sales operation by applying Natural Language Processing (NLP) for text classification and sentiment analysis.
• Support Monthly Forecast to build predictive models to support forecasting process.
• Work closely with platform architects and engineers on projects to implement and deploy machine learning models on embedded system.

What you should have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Past working/ internship experience in Computer Science or Data Science.
• Experience with agile development.
• High competency in Microsoft Excel (Knowledge in Power Query a plus).
• High competency in Python.

Resposibilities:

• Receive customer enquiries through customer portal or email.
• Download, update, and monitor customer product Bill of Material (BOM), drawings, and specifications and its revisions.
• Prepare Sales quotation/proposal/tender documents during RFQ/quotation stage.
• Check and ensure compliance to all specifications prior to providing customer the proposal.
• Calculate material, machining, cladding and other associated costs to quotations.
• Ensure quotations submitted are competitive and maintain a good profit margin.
• Follow-up on proposals with clients to secure orders.
• Prepare and distribute a Sales Order Job Launch when customer awards Purchase orders.
• Project Management on active Sales Orders and delivery schedules.
• Manage and build customer relationships and improve customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with other departments to compile and submit documentations as required (e.g. pre-production/ final product documentations, concessions/non-conformances)
• Establish positive communications with customers regularly.
