Your day-to-day

FINANCIAL RETURNS

• Promote the Holiday Inn Expressproducts and services using and suggestive selling techniques Holiday Inn Express
• Prepare and execute action plans which increase sales revenue
• Monitor and acquire market intelligence from competition set hotels.
• Refer international sales leads to Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing
• Aware of sales strategies and goals when selling to negotiate optimum room rate for the benefit of the hotels’ business
• Sell facts and UPs of the hotel with a view to optimizing opportunities for revenue growth
• Monitors existing business and share sales strategies during sales/revenue meetings to maximize opportunities
• Acquire new business opportunities for the hotel while maintaining and growing volume from existing corporate accounts
• Initiates and prepare business tenders, proposal and contracts upon reviewing with Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing
• Work collaboratively with Leadership team in the preparation and management of the Sales & Marketing budget yearly
• Review and assist in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget
• Completing all sales training modules is mandatory
• Competent in hotel systems (ie. Concerto, Oasis, Merlin, IWOS)

• Manage key corporate accounts with professionalism

GUEST EXPERIENCE

• Promote the Hotel’s (and IHG generally) products and services
• Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge about all IHG Hotels in your region
• Service existing and new business through management of accounts
• Respond to guest complaints within 24hours and ensure corrective actions to resolve their issues / concerns with the support of Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing
• Develop and maintain a regular pattern of sales calls, meeting with principals of target markets

• Support the clients in community management and response escalation.
• Work with the creative and management team in developing campaign concepts and proposals.
• Work with the creative team in visual concepts from graphic design pieces to animated content and production work.
• Ensuring that the agency is abreast with all changes across all social media platforms.
• Manage clients' and team members' expectations in line with agreed cost and scopes of work;
• Manage out of scope work and ensure OOS work are reasonably acceptable in view of timeline and resource available and that they are billable;
• Manage resources and work closely together with all internal and external parties (e.g. clients and suppliers) to ensure targets, deadlines and deliverables are met

Key requisites

• At least 3 years’ experience in an advertising agency or related field.

Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customers receive excellent service, addressing complaints or feedback efficiently.

Engagement: Build relationships with regular customers and foster a welcoming environment.

Menu Consultation: Collaborate with chefs to innovate and adapt the menu based on customer preferences and market trends.

4. Financial Oversight

Budget Management: Create and manage budgets, controlling costs while maximizing revenue.

Profitability Analysis: Analyze sales reports to identify profitable items and areas for improvement.

Vendor Negotiations: Work with suppliers to negotiate pricing and maintain cost efficiency.

5. Marketing and Promotions

Local Marketing: Plan and execute marketing campaigns to attract customers, such as discounts, events, or festivals.

Digital Presence: Manage the restaurant's online presence, including social media, review platforms, and delivery apps.

Customer Retention: Develop loyalty programs or initiatives to retain existing customers.

6. Compliance and Reporting

Regulations Compliance: Ensure adherence to local laws, including health, safety, and labor regulations.

Reporting: Provide regular reports on operational performance, sales, and expenses to owners or stakeholders.

7. Facility Management

Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the restaurant and food court.

Equipment: Ensure all kitchen and dining equipment is in good working condition.

We’re looking for a looking for a hands-on Sales Manager to lead and mange sales drives across the APAC region.

• Establish and generate new sales using existing and potential customer network;
• Develop an annual strategy and monthly monitoring schedule for sales;
• Report on the status of accounts and transactions;
• Monitor sales metrics;
• Have product knowledge and create a unique selling proposition;
• Organise product trials, meetings, demonstrations and promotions for potential clients and sales opportunities;
• Plan regional sales budget and develop a sales plan for key accounts and customers in the region;
• Report on sales schedule, weekly sales reports and updates;
• Handle customer feedback and prototyping approval;
• Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth;
• Feedback on current projects and development for key accounts;
• Monitor competitors’ pricing strategy, activities and products.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant sales or account management experience;
• Experience in working with regional sales accounts, including distributors and end-users;
• In-depth understanding of regional markets relating to Quick Service Restaurant and Meat Processing industries;
• In-depth knowledge of competition and ability to apply competing successful strategies;
• Proactive, excellent team player and customer focused;
• Excellent time management and ability to work well in a team;  Able to deliver client-focused solutions based on customer needs;
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task;
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
