The individual will be managing a cluster of hotels in Sentosa. The enclave of hotels in Sentosa by Far East Hospitality is home to four uniquely-designed offerings – bespoke luxury at The Barracks Hotel Sentosa, pragmatic wellness at Oasia Resort Sentosa, adults-exclusive at The Outpost Hotel Sentosa, and family-fun at Village Hotel Sentosa. Responsibilities

• Represent the hotel professionally by upholding proper grooming standards.
• Present the hotels’ products and services effectively.
• Generate new sales leads and maintain relationships with clients through sales calls and regular site inspection.
• Assist to update sales control procedures and promotional activities.
• Present Account Portfolio quarterly and analyse the performance of each account.
• Manage corporate meetings, banquet events, residential and non-residential meeting groups or travel trade accounts.
• Provide management with timely Sales and Marketing strategic information.
• Secure new accounts and achieve monthly sales targets assigned.
• Provide suggestions to re-secure loss of existing accounts.
• Follow up with clients whose payments are outstanding and overdue.

Requirements

• Diploma in Sales and Marketing.
• At least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, networking and organisational skills.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Able to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.

• He/She is required to prospect for new accounts, maintain existing accounts, and build relationships with newly acquired customers.
• Service corporate accounts and manage full sales cycles

• Attend site meetings and responsible to liaise with our customers on their solution needs and after sales need.

• Manage daily sales inquiries and quotations via email and phone for both existing and new clients.
• Work closely & coordinate with the indoor team to maximize sales figures.
• Liaise with operation team and ensure timely delivery of customers’ orders
• To prepare report after Job Done / Pump Repair Done. (Training will be provided)
• Carry out risk assessment; Make recommendations on risk control measures and Communication Risk Assessments (RA) to concerned parties and other Method of Statement. (Training will be provided)
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned

Requirements:

• A degree or diploma holder preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Applicants with no working experience are welcomed (Training provided)
• Strong knowledge of pumps and their applications is highly desirable
• Experience in engineering sales/customer service is a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Willingness to travel for business purposes as required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to learn, pleasant personality, humble responsible, positive working attitude and hardworking.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and suppliers.

• Flexible and able to Support on Saturday if required.
• Class 3 driving license with own vehicle.
