Job Description:

1. Strategic Marketing Leadership:

• Lead the creation of marketing plans and leveraging on consumer insights to ensure alignment with local market demands.
• Define and communicate a clear, high-level strategic direction for marketing to top management and affiliates, offering a comprehensive bird's-eye view of company objectives.
• Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that align with the company’s long-term objectives, ensuring consistency across all initiatives to drive sustainable growth.
• Conduct in-depth competitor analysis to evaluate market positioning and strategies and collaborate with internal teams to shape and implement effective company strategies that maintain a competitive edge

2. Capability Building and Talent Development:

• Enhance marketing capabilities across Takasago and its affiliates as well as training for sales affiliates
• Reinforce best practices sharing to ensure consistent and effective marketing approaches across regions.

3. Integrated Marketing Initiatives:

• Design and execute marketing activities focused on driving product awareness, demand generation, and sales growth.
• Develop and forecast marketing initiatives based on consumer insights and analysis of emerging business opportunities.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Foster and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the global marketing team, sales teams, technical teams, and customers, to ensure alignment and drive business objectives.
• Serve as the primary coordinator and representative for the region, facilitating effective collaboration and communication
• Work cross-functionally across regions to execute both annual and long-term marketing plans in partnership with affiliates.

5. Market Awareness and Analysis:

• Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments, ensuring adaptive strategies that keep Takasago ahead in the market.

• Develop and manage regional marketing budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and maximized ROI

Requirements:

1. Educational Background:

• Advanced degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master or MBA preferred).

2. Professional Experience:

• Minimum of 15 years of progressive marketing leadership experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Proven track record of developing and executing international marketing strategies that drive significant business growth.
• Experience managing regional budgets and delivering measurable ROI.

3. Leadership and Collaboration Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams across multiple regions and functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing engaging content for World Farm’s social media channels.
• Create eye-catching visuals and graphics for social media campaigns using design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Canva).
• Contribute to video content ideas and take charge of video production for platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels, including pre- and post- production.
• Help manage and schedule posts on various social media channels
• Research and implement best practices to increase website traffic and improve search rankings
• Analyse campaign performance (e.g., email open rates, conversion rates, social media engagement) and provide actionable recommendations.
• Support marketing promotions, seasonal sales, and customer engagement initiatives

Requirements:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) and an understanding of what drives engagement, working knowledge of XHS and Lemon8 knowledge is a bonus
• Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva) is a plus
• Strong analytical skills; able to interpret marketing data and provide insights
• Creativity and ability to think outside the box for innovative marketing strategies
• Time management skills; ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

You will join our Regional Market Development Centre (RMDC), taking care of developing region such as Bangladesh; Sri Lanka; Cambodia; Myanmar, etc, to develop and execute marketing communication strategies. This role involves coordinating with local teams and branches, to help transform ideas into visually stunning designs creatives for our shopfront as well as communications to the public. Doing so would help ensuring our brand consistency across all channels. In addition, we are also looking for someone who can manage and coordinate small events that leaves lasting impression to our clients.

What you will be doing

Shopfront design:

• Develop innovative and eye-catching designs for our shopfront displays. As well as collaborate with the marketing team to align shopfront visuals with our brand identity.

Creatives artwork design:

• Create engaging graphics and artwork for our social media platforms. Ensure all designs are on-brand and optimized for various digital formats.
• Design promotional posters for events, sales, and campaigns.

Content Creation:

• Collaborate with our marketing & sales team to produce localized content for various channels, including digital, print, and social media.

Brand Consistency:

• Ensure all marketing materials align with the brand guidelines and messaging.

Event Coordination:

• Plan and manage events, trade shows, and promotional activities in the region. Collaborate with vendors, manage logistics, and ensure a smooth event experience.

Budget Management:

• Assist in managing the marketing budget and track expenditures.

Performance Analysis:

• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using data to optimize future efforts.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.

What you should have

• A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing communications will be good.
• Certification in Digital Marketing or Project Management will be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms.
