Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Project Manager to implement and delivery of cloud-based solutions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with clients, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while meeting business objectives.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Management

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.

Qualifications:

1. Educational Background and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on cloud-based projects preferred.

2. Technical Skills

• Proficient in cloud platforms such as HuaWei, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experienced with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, MS Project) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, PMP).

3. Communication and Leadership Skills

• Strong communication, organizational, and coordination skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.

4. Additional Requirements

• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master are highly desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to occasional travel needs.
• Fluency in English is required; international project experience is a plus.

The Industry Development Division 2 (IDD2) is part of the Training Partners Group in SSG which aims to build a robust and high quality Continuing Education and Training (CET) ecosystem through strategic partnerships and management of CET providers, and engagement of enterprises in skills development.

Specifically, IDD2 is responsible for:

i. Account managing strategic CET partners to develop capabilities;

ii. Working with strategic partners to plan and support sectoral manpower development needs that are aligned with the Industry Transformation Maps and Jobs Transformation Map;

iv. Implementing strategies to support enterprises’ workforce transformation efforts.

Intelligence Gathering and Market Analysis

• Gather access to market intelligence on industry trends and manage CET supply to meet jobs and skills demand of the economy;
• Identify and bring in Best-in-Class training partners and enterprises to address capability gaps, especially in priority and emerging skills areas;
• Work with strategic partners such as industry associations, government agencies, unions and enterprises to plan and implement workforce development plans identified in the Industry Transformation Maps;

Stakeholders’ Engagement

• Collaborate with relevant SSG Divisions to implement, manage and evaluate programmes/schemes outcomes;
• Work with external stakeholders (e.g. industry associations, unions, training providers) and government agencies to outreach to Singapore-based enterprises to identify their manpower development needs and implement strategies support enterprises’ workforce transformation efforts;

Account Management and Partnership Management

• Identify, appoint/renew and engage enterprises and strategic training partners to support SkillsFuture and other national initiatives.
• Perform contract management activities such negotiating scope of partnership with training partners, preparing budget proposals, managing contract sign-offs, handling grant disbursement and other administrative matters; and
• Conduct and monitor periodic reporting of training partners’ efforts and programme outcomes.

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification
• Up to 7 years of industry engagement and development, business development and account management experience. Having work experience in Modern Services Cluster such as Infocomm Technology, Media, Financial Services or Professional Services industry is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and conceptual ability
• Comfortable and adept at collating, managing, analysing and presenting data
• Good writing, communication and digital literacy skills

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory and Compliance

· Ensure that TPs seeking funding from SSG meet the necessary registration and quality standards.

· Regulate Private Education Institutions in line with the Private Education Act 2009 and its regulations.

· Lead inspections on TPs and PEIs to confirm adherence to the Private Education Act, Regulations, and SSG requirements.
