Job Scope: Two-Prong

GRAPHIC / MARKETING WORK

1) Designing EDMs for restaurant events / promotions

2) Help with social media updates on FB / Instagram including taking good food photos

(able to market and tie up on wechat and xiaohongshu a plus)

3) Assist with distribution/ profiling event through right social media sites by emailing editors etc.

4) Organise and maintain customer email lists for email marketing

5) Prepare and print menus

ADMIN

1) Meeting 3 times a week if needed to discuss projects

2) Help to source and liase with vendors etc. and cross-compare quotations (when need arise)

3) Update website (wordpress, Shopify)

4) Scan documents – will give you a printer-scanner

Social Media Operation

• Develop and execute marketing plans to enhance brand awareness and drive client acquisition.
• Manage official social media accounts to ensure consistent branding and engagement.
• Create engaging content, including posters and videos, to captivate the target audience.
• Interact with followers and grow the online community by fostering meaningful engagement.
• Optimize Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and other paid campaigns to maximize ROI and reach.
• Stay updated on industry trends to continuously refine and improve marketing strategies.

Operations Support

• Collaborate with different departments to improve internal productivity through content and tools
• Assist in ad-hoc duties assigned by the management

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and driven Marketing Associate to join our team at Pineapple MMA. In this role, you will play a key role in promoting our brand internationally, driving membership growth, and engaging with our community to share the unique energy and culture of Pineapple MMA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement creative marketing strategies to drive membership sign-ups and retain current members.
• Plan and execute campaigns across digital and traditional channels, including social media, SEO, digital advertising, and local community outreach.
• Collaborate with coaches and members to create authentic and engaging social media content that highlights our classes, community, and success stories.
• Propose and execute content strategies that will take our social media following from 10K to 100K.
• Build partnerships with businesses and community organizations to enhance brand visibility.
• Build relationships with parents to support the growth and retention of our Children’s Programme
• Support front-of-house duties to deepen product and consumer knowledge
• Be involved in operational tasks to identify areas of improvement for an elevated customer experience
• Be able to commit to a 6-day work week, including weekends.

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess These Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
• Must have some work experience. Marketing and social media experience is preferred but not a must.
• Ability to solve complex problems independently.
• Passion for fitness, martial arts, or community engagement is a plus.
• Highly familiar with creating engaging content for social media, or demonstrates a strong willingness to learn
• Proficiency in basic tools such as Canva, Capcut
