Sales and Operations Manager (Supermarket)

Lead and manage a group of area/cluster managers to deliver business plan and KPIs within budget. To be accountable for overseeing the clusters of stores to ensure activities are effectively carried out. Administration aspects through co-ordination and correspondence with the respective HQ support departments to ensure effective communication and uniformity of instructions amongst all stores.

• Involve in the analysis and forecast of market trend to assist stores to stay ahead of competition.
• Participate in establishing and executing Company policies, procedures, promotions and guidelines to entail operational efficiency.
• Provide clear direction, guidance and leadership to the Area/Cluster managers under his/her care.
• Delivering strong effective communication regarding key KPIs either in written or verbal format
• Collaborate with support departments to ensure all corporate strategies, directives and promotions are effectively thought out before being implemented and executed with excellence at stores to achieve operations effectiveness.
• Work closely with support departments to identify potential areas of concerns with regards to promotions executions and opportunities
• Train and develop team members in established techniques and skills, procedures and company policies to reach a higher level of efficiency
• Conduct routine supervision to ensure all corporate strategies and directives are implemented and well executed at the stores.
• Involve in strategic planning in areas on store refits, new store opportunity as well as merchandise displays.

• Process payments by totaling purchases; processing cash or other credit cards
• Must also be able to deal with customer refunds courteously and professionally

Willing to work on roster based on retail hours.

Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working hours:

• 6 days roster based (retail hour 10am to 10pm)
• 1 weekday off

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Corporate Sales Manager (LED) is responsible for driving the growth and profitability of the LED product portfolio by identifying and securing quality suppliers, establishing competitive pricing structures, and expanding the company’s sales ecosystem. This role involves strategic planning, market analysis, and the development of marketing initiatives to achieve sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Supplier and Product Management: Identify and secure partnerships with high-quality LED product suppliers. Negotiate and lock down product prices to maintain competitive advantages Ensure supplier agreements aligns with company objectives and comply with quality standards
2. Sales Ecosystem Development: Identify and build a comprehensive sales ecosystem encompassing suppliers, marketing and strategy teams, and post-sales technical support. Collaborate with marketing teams to design and execute impactful campaigns. Develop and implement strategies
3. Revenue Diversification: Design parallel income streams to complement the primary sales effort, including content creation services and maintenance contracts. Explore innovative business opportunities to expand sales and increase revenue streams.
4. Market Research and Analysis: Analyze market trends and customer behavior to identify new business opportunities. Provide insights and reports to guide product and sales strategies. Stay updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the LED market.
5. Marketing and Business Development: Develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns to boost customer engagement and brand visibility. Build and maintain strong partnerships with key customers and stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS

Educational Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in corporate sales, business development, or a similar role, preferably in the LED or electronics industry.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Experience in supplier negotiation and price management.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
• Excellent analytical skills for market research and trend analysis.
• Proficiency in developing marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
