You will lead the project execution of the electrical infrastructure upgrade (including substations, consumer switch rooms) for power provision to EV chargers.
Overall, as a Design Manager, you will be responsible for the Charging Operations in the assigned zone(s). The job will include the following:
· Develop and implement end-to-end design development and deployment of EV chargers in public car parks. This also includes developing the tender specifications and requirements.
· Lead the design reviews to ensure EV charger deployment are carried out in compliance with the contract specifications and agencies’ code of practices and regulations.
· Support the deployment management process and coordinate with other public agencies to facilitate approval processes.
This role will also require collaboration with other government agencies, industry partners and community partners to manage the EVCPs’ installation within a designated geographical boundary. You will be supporting the Electrical / Civil-related site matters in the overall EV electrical infrastructure upgrade development as well as support various operational functions in EV charger deployment.
Overall, the Technical Manager will be responsible for the Engineering & Infrastructure Operation. This job will include the following:
• Support the design development of EV electrical/civil infrastructure – Develop tender specifications and requirements for electrical/civil infrastructure upgrade.
• Review the EV electrical/civil infrastructure upgrade proposals - Support specialist advice on potential electrical/civil-related issues in the infrastructure upgrade proposal and recommend solutions to optimize upgrade projects on cost and time.
• Oversee site progress by conducting regular checks on various sites to ensure upgrade works are executed properly.
• Support site assessments as well as assessment of potential costs to upgrade electrical infrastructure to support EV charger deployment.
Requirements:
