· Identifies, qualifies, and closes complex sales to new and existing Marine, Offshore Oil and Gas customers.

· Develops, maintains, and advances relationships with current and potential customers to cultivate new selling opportunities.

· Documents and communicates the voice of customer to internal stakeholders.

· Leverages resources and knowledge of Marine BU products, services, processes, and operations to support customer commitments, gain competitive advantage and foster business growth.

· Prepares or oversees the production of proposals and negotiates contracts for management approval.

· May participate in trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and other events to keep abreast of industry developments, and seek potential customers.

· Deliver presentations to prospective customers within territory, or as required.

Other Requirements

· Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in telecommunication, electrical engineering.

· 4 - 8 years relevant working experience with good sales track record.

· Good sales network in the marine industry and knowledge in Maritime Satellite services will be an advantage.

· Experience as Ex-Radio Officers, are added advantages.

As Sales Manager within the LifeTech Sales team, you will be responsible for driving incremental new business to DLL by both Relationship Management and Business Development activity, across a mix of DLL’s global and local technology and healthcare partnerships, and direct customers, in Singapore. The role will also be a key liaison on designated accounts with internal departments of DLL including Sales Support, Credit, Operations, Collections, Legal, Finance and Asset Management.

Day to day

Expand and maintain existing partnerships through proactive relationship management. Increase new business volume and DLL share of partner business, through customer visits, deal structuring, problem solving, and process improvements.

· Develop and execute program management strategies to exceed sales budgets in place for existing partners including new business volume, margin and fee income with pipeline management.

· Develop new programs with global and local partners in technology and healthcare industries to drive business growth, leveraging DLL’s global network of partners as well as local relationships.

· Training and development of partner sales teams to ensure high levels of finance penetration and attraction of a high-quality customer base.

· Handle first-line escalation for non-standard enquiries, including pricing, changes in Terms & Conditions, priority deal management and settlement exceptions. Also act as first-line support for partner queries on deal status for designated accounts and other matters.

· Work with partners to drive efficiencies and process improvement, in particular to streamline the handling of incoming applications, approvals and settlements as required.

· Work with customers direct to meet their broader finance requirements, that also fall outside of DLL-partner-led business.

· Identify and resolve problems before they impact on the vendor and/or their customers.
