Your day to day

The Marketing Intern is responsible to support the integrated marketing portfolio for the cluster of hotels comprising online (social media) and offline marketing (PR, Partnerships, Collaterals, Integrated campaigns).

Social Media Marketing

• Support the development and ideation of the hotel and signature restaurant's monthly social media content (Facebook, Instagram) in accordance with approved social content strategy
• Support the creative production for the hotel and signature restaurant's monthly social content through photography and/or videography.

Public Relations

• Support the coordination of media activities (e.g. media release, media drops, media hosting) that drive creative news-making opportunities.
• Support the tracking and consolidation of monthly press clippings for reporting and internal review.

Accountability

Reports to the Marketing & PR Manager. Interacts with guests and individuals outside the hotels including, but not limited to, current and potential clients, owning company representatives, suppliers, competitors and other members of the local community.

What we need from you

• Candidate has to be local (Singaporean / Singapore Permanent Resident)
• Commitment of at at least 6 months is preferred
• Internship experience of corporate marketing across both offline and online platforms is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in marketing is preferred

Job Details;

• Basic Up To: $3700
• 5 working days
• 3 shift patterns (dependent on locations):
  A shift: 7.30am to 5pm / 7am to 4.30pm
  B shift: 1 to 10.30pm / 1.30pm to 11pm
  C shift: 10pm to 7.30am / 10.30pm to 8am / 11pm to 8.30am
• Location: Central Region or Sentosa Island

Job Descriptions:

• Supervise all Front Office sections and other hotel operational departments.
• Manage reception, cashier, telephone, reservation, and baggage services within the Front Office. Monitor junior staff's behavior and performance for a positive guest experience.
• Handle security-related tasks, such as directing guests in case of incidents and addressing undesirable behavior or individuals in coordination with security.
• Optimize room usage to increase revenue by closely monitoring room inventory.
• Ensure guests receive prompt, courteous service and manage guest check-in/check-out processes.
• Maintain an appropriate cash float and authorize rate changes, paid-outs, cash advances, and check acceptance following established procedures and credit policies.
