THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a Singapore-based Business Development Manager/Field Sales professional to join our sales team in Singapore. AECO provides supply energy acquisition services and consulting, and energy market intelligence services. You will be part of a direct sales team addressing various market segments.

Role Responsibilities

• Build relationships. Hunter Role - Prospect, develop, and maintain a healthy pipeline of business growth opportunities for new customers. Cold calls, Personalized email to target audience list, and leverage social media to build your professional network.
• Understand our customers. Articulate and Demonstrate value proposition points to corporate customers to secure contracts
• Deliver results. Successfully execute the account management and sales processes for all opportunities. Meeting Individual and Division KPI.
• Collaborate with your team. Leverage your domain knowledge when working with cross-divisional teams to define and execute account strategies. Be disciplined, motivated, resourceful, and take initiative to resolve issues. Proper follow-up, paperwork, and internal process to adhere to company policy.

About you:

• 3+ years of enterprise sales experience in the B2B model, preferably in the enterprise/commercial sector (handle SME/MNCs accounts hospitality, schools, manufacturing accounts), candidates with less experience would be considered as training will be provided.
• Experience managing the transactional sales cycle and establishing advocacy with customers
• Understanding of account planning and opportunity strategy creation - Understand different roles in corporate (who are decision-makers, gatekeepers)
• Able to negotiate, present, and close deals with given KPI
• Poly Diploma or Bachelor Degree in business administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

Recommended Qualifications

• Understand and use of sales techniques and methodologies to secure deals
• Has a broad network of customers from respective industries
• Knowledge of industry fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles

2) Act as customer’s main point of contact to ensure the issue raised are dealt appropriately and be proactive for account management.

3) Proactive for troubleshooting, escalate customer’s pain point and resolve the issues within timeline.

4) Maintain good relationship with customer and related department.

5) Participate for customer related activities; sales, CS, billing, legal, operation, pricing, debt collection etc

6) Update SOPs regularly and share best practices sharing with team members.

7) Sourcing venders for cost reduction plan and provide advises to operation to meet customer requirement.

Requirements

1) Customer-oriented, responsible, positive and pro-active

2) Min. 3 years’ experience in after sales support for KAs of logistic industry. Ability to successfully drive problem solving as a priority

3) Have good data analysis skills and customer service awareness; Have good communication

4) Bachelor degree and relevant work experience. Priority will be given to those with background in international freight logistics and overseas warehouse supply chain services;

5) Priority will be given to candidate who is able to start immediately.

6) Proficient in Microsoft Office.

7) Be fluent in Mandarin and English writing and oral speaking.
