Key Responsibilities

• Travel extensively across Malaysia and occasionally to regional sites for installations, maintenance, and support sales.
• Conduct technical site qualifications to assess system requirements, project scope and site conditions.
• Setup, configure, and commission solar monitoring hardware on-site.
• Perform network setup and troubleshooting to ensure reliable communication between solar monitoring systems and communications equipment.

JOB PURPOSE

In line with the Head Office and regional policies, the MSC Cruises' strategy and the Sales objectives, the Sales Director South East Asia leads the Sales strategy, contributes to and implements the sales action plan for the region in order to achieve revenue, cost and other commercial targets to ensure the efficient running of the sales operations for the start-up for the region.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

In line with the strategic guidelines of MSC Cruises, under the leadership of the VP Commercial Area, the Sales Director South East Asia is responsible for the following start-up activities:

• Leads, governs, coordinates and develops the MSC Sales strategy, including distribution, pricing and sales; in coordination with the headquarter in Geneva in South East Asia in order to optimize revenue, margin and market share
• Identifies new market potential and adapts quickly and effectively to changes in the market by prognosis and tactical planning;
• Identifies and evaluates business opportunities with strategic partners relevant to MSC Cruises as well as potential new customers;
• Develops sales plans;
• Leads negotiations with local partners and contractors and is in direct contact with MSC Cruises' major partners throughout the countries in scope;
• Participates in and organizes partner events in order to strengthen long term business relationships;
• Liaises with MSC's head office in Geneva to ensure the effective integration of the region business in the company's overall sales plans.

Team Summary

The Regional New Business Development team is responsible for growing the acceptance and usage of Cybersource throughout the Asia Pacific (AP) region. The team is responsible for targeting net new merchants, acquirers and payment service providers as well as other companies accepting or facilitating payments to add them to our growing client portfolio. This team also works closely with other Visa teams to offer Visa acceptance solutions for checkout, processing, analytics, fraud, security and other digital solutions in the AP region.
