We are currently seeking a high performing talent to join the SSEA GTS Regional Sales team in the role of Senior Manager / Sales Director, Regional Business Development.
This role reports to Regional Head of Solutions Structuring, South & Southeast Asia, GTS.
Principal Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic workstreams with objective of creating the scalable propositions and sales infrastructure towards sustainable growth of SSEA GTS business. This shall straddle from customer segment strategy to product commercialisation strategy, to people scaling agenda.
- Derive commercialization strategy to drive uptake of trade and structure trade solutions and deliver target business outcome
- Define and implement the learning and upskilling roadmap for SSEA GTS Sales teams in partnership with country teams and subject matter experts
- Active engagement with SSEA markets for assessment of competitive landscape, validate market opportunities and applicability of trade propositions via research and customer insights
- Develop materials to clearly and effectively communicate SSEA GTS Sales Strategy, capability development initiatives, whilst acting as key interface with other areas of the Group, driving collaboration where possible
- Execute data analysis to formulate business and sales intelligence, and presenting the conclusion to senior stakeholders to drive actionable next steps
- Partnership origination and ongoing management, from identifying, selecting, testing, commercialising and monitoring 3rd party partnerships regionally; leading the initial relationship with select partners, negotiating terms, measures of success, coordinating partnership execution and ongoing monitoring of performance
- Represent SSEA GTS Sales in various forums, meetings with global functions and businesses
· Strong project management, process improvement and MI reporting skills
To be successful in this role you should meet some of the following attributes:
- Strategic thinking and high level of business acumen and commercial awareness with proven record to drive initiatives to deliver tangible results
- Typical qualifications include undergraduate or post-graduate degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance or a related field
- Strong credit assessment skills, particularly with regard to more complex and structured facilities with an international dimension
- Extensive knowledge of global trade solutions, services, products and techniques
- Extensive knowledge of the market & market trends, competitive environment and regulatory environment
- Sales & Client Management experience at a senior level including dealing with senior executives
- Experience with data analytics and having digital acumen is a plus. This includes analyzing both internal/external data and determining the best way to represent the conclusion to stakeholders
- An ability to work at fast pace often with limited information/guidance and independently formulate solutions to challenges that arise
- A collaborative team player, who can work on a self-directed basis; and balance multiple diverse priorities and stakeholders
- A high standard of spoken and written English delivered in a style to articulate GTS’s story and drive actionable steps
- Ability to manage and navigate a dynamic and complex global matrix environment
- A practical approach to preparing requests from leadership often at short notice
- Proven ability to deliver creative and flexible customer solutions.
- Ability to understand a customers business and the fundamentals of running a business
- Excellent time management, planning and organisation skills
