Job Summary

Develop and implement strategies and action plans for assigned territories, accounts and projects both locally and region to achieve budgeted sales.

Build up business relationships and sustainable network of direct key accounts critical to the strategic growth plans of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Engage in identifying, pursuing sales in energy sector project on project and MRO sales with EPC’s, contractors, system integrators. Product focus would be solution selling on Junction boxes, Local control station, Panels and Switch rack.
• Specification work on getting Company products in vendor listing of O&G majors, national oil companies and consultants.
• Maintain and expand current customer base; leverage on robust business relationships and excellent service level to acquire first-hand information on their upcoming projects.
• Develop new accounts not limiting to project owners, consultants, EPCs, yards and OEMs to promote products. Create awareness of our products through active product presentation to introduce technical/product applications for our range of products.
• Build and nurture personal/business relationships with key accounts to gain broader and deeper understanding of their business potentials, project leads, key decision makers at various levels.
• Explore growth opportunities in assigned territories to boost company sales revenues.
• To follow-up the projects/leads identified by the sales team/RSD and actively make direct contact with project key decision makers.
• Evaluate and assess competitors’ movements and activities directly competing with on key projects and recommend appropriate actions to the management in a timely manner.
• Maintain knowledge of competitive activities, market trends, and customer purchasing practices and ensure communications of these activities to the RSD/sales colleagues.
• Perform special or additional roles assigned by RSD to achieve optimum success for profit center.
• Prepare weekly sales activity report on projects and customers visits.
• Report on key results areas and responsible for meeting yearly sales target.
• Overseas travel as and when required.

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) Manager for the APAC region is a newly created role to help us define, execute, measure and refine a compelling top of the funnel revenue strategy for Visa Cross-Border Solutions, inclusive of Currencycloud brand. You will lead a team of 3 Sales Development Representatives (SDR’s) responsible for filling the pipeline with qualified leads that turn into revenue. What we expect of you, day to day:

Demand Generation Strategy (approx. % of role breakdown – 25%) 

• Working with regional marketing managers and sales consultants to support the creation of a demand gen strategy that meets regional targets
• Researching prospects, target personas, and segment landscape to assist with lead scoring and more account based marketing
• Building prospect target lists using business development tools
• Build strategies using clear and defined KPIs and ROI. Specific campaigns that are built and delivered as part of the strategy should have trackable metrics and align with your overall strategic objectives
• Own data management for prospecting 

Leadership (approx. 45% of role)

• As an experienced leader, you will coach and lead your team to execute against your strategy and to continuously improve the quality and warmth of leads and opportunities
• You’ll also help and mentor career growth across the team
• Oversee the SDR playbook for moving leads through the funnel, and all processes that sit alongside it
• Support APAC SDRs and oversees SDR activity globally to facilitate the transfer of best practices
• Lead by example with KPIs and prospecting
• Manage performance of SDRs, ensuring they are hitting the targets you have set

Performance Reporting (approx. 30% of role)

• Creating a reporting rhythm among SDRs, the wider marketing team, sales team and also at a senior leadership/executive level.
• Managing the creation and delivery of all demand generation reporting
• Working closely with the sales operations team, providing them with data to enable their wider sales reporting, and ensuring they are supporting marketing deliverables for reporting
• Delivery of holistic demand generation activity, both outbound lead generation as well as working alongside the marketing manager to support inbound lead generation.
• This will include building prospect lists, managing data, building campaigns within lead gen tools and the execution of those campaigns
• It also includes any necessary follow up and qualification of leads as well as smooth handover to sales consultants.

Job Responsibilities

1. Conduct sourcing activities for electronic components within the APAC region.
2. Work on any incoming service request enquiries from Sales Team and update pricing into our in-house ERP system.
3. Liaise with our Warehouse Team (SG & HK) to ensure goods received are in correct quantity and in good quality.
