3. Product and Technical Support

• Understand product knowledge: Familiar with the characteristics, uses, and technical parameters of the company's accessory products, and provide professional advice to customers.

• Provide pre-sales support: answer customers' questions about products and assist them in choosing suitable products.

After sales service: Coordinate and handle customer complaints, quality issues, and return/exchange requests.

4. Market research and analysis

Analyze market trends: Pay attention to international market dynamics, collect competitor information, identify market opportunities and risks.

Feedback on market information: Report customer needs, product improvement suggestions, and market changes to the company, providing a basis for company decision-making.

5. Cross departmental communication and coordination

Coordinate with the production department to ensure that production plans match customer orders and deliver on time.

Collaborate with the logistics department to arrange transportation, customs clearance, and other processes to ensure the safe delivery of goods.

• Coordinate with the finance department: follow up on customer payment progress, verify accounts, and reduce financial risks.

6. Document and Contract Management

Prepare sales documents, including quotations, invoices, contracts, commercial invoices, and packing lists.

Contract management: Ensure that all sales activities comply with international trade regulations and monitor contract execution.

7. Improve sales performance

• Develop promotional activities: Plan and execute sales promotion strategies based on market conditions.

• Achieve sales targets: Achieve sales and profit targets according to the company's annual plan.

8. International Trade and Regulatory Compliance

• Master international trade rules: Familiar with import and export procedures, customs requirements, trade agreements, and international payment methods (such as letters of credit, T/T).

Compliance operation: Ensure that business processes comply with the laws, regulations, and industry standards of the destination country.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Sales Engineer / Sales Manager to achieve the annual sales target
• Assist the Sales Engineer / Sales Manager with the preparation of monthly sales reports
• Engage customers to secure orders and arrange for on time delivery
• Prepare quotations for customers using the ERP System and ensure accurate pricing of products
• Process sale orders, production orders, pick lists and purchase orders in the ERP system accurately and in a timely manner
• Monitor and plan product inventory levels, liaise with suppliers for timely supply/replenishment of inventory
• Work with suppliers to resolve any quality issue with their products or short delivery issues
• Liaise with Logistics personnel on stock and delivery issues
• Liaise with Production personnel on production and quality issues
• Monitor customers’ accounts receivables and pursue overdue balances owed by customers; follow up with customers to maintain timely collection of accounts receivables
• Assist with any other tasks assigned by the Sales Engineer / Sales Manager
• Perform ad hoc receptionist duties (including greeting visitors, transferring calls, taking and ensuring messages are passed to the appropriate staff member on a timely basis)
• Perform ad hoc administration duties

Sales management: Influence, shape and implement the sales and marketing strategy with a particular focus on key assigned markets. Originate and close opportunities to develop new market segments, product groups and channels.

Account management and marketing: Build and develop established relationships with key customers such as shipyards and owners, and technical consultants. Lead all business development and marketing activities to achieve sustainable profitable growth.

Strategy planning: Take a proactive support role to plan and prepare the annual budget and sales forecasts and execute specific plans to meet the target. Regular provision of information for planning and forecast via sales force

Operational management: Align sales with factory’s manufacturing capacity. Work in close cooperation with all key functions and help to maximize the capabilities of the business. Manages sales process, coordinates and negotiates proposals in cooperation with technical team, internal functions, other involved professionals and management.

YOUR PROFILE

· Diploma or Degree in Engineering, preferably in Marine, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical field.

· You have a strong and successful sales experience of around 5 to 10 years in marine industry, preferably selling capital equipment’s.

· You are a strong networker and to-the-point communicator who is able to build and maintain a solid internal and external network.

· You have good interpersonal skills and can interact easily and influence all levels of stakeholders.

· You are willing to travel in the region.
