JOB SUMMARY

The Director of Sales leads, manages and oversees the room sales, room reservations & event sales for the hotel, ensuring maximisation of revenue. The Director of Sales collaborates & aligns the management team and extended teams to develop & implement strategies that are financially viable for the hotel; and in return, achieve profit & product leadership. Goal/Deliverables:

• Directly closing contracts on already qualified interested leads - end to end experience from nurturing to negotiating
• Own the booking process and ensure smooth handover from sales to community experience team

What you’ll be doing:

• Conduct viewings for the leads that have been scheduled on your calendar by the customer success team.
• Ensure you have all the information needed for a viewing to be converted to successful booking.
• Quickly learn the prospects’ needs and match them to our available options. Collaborate with the inbound team to arrange and independently conduct viewings.
• To actively convert customer enquiries into confirmed sales to develop future and repeat business contributing to the profitability of business.
• Attend scheduled viewings timely and ensure timely follow-up on the same business day (24 hours)
• Ensure feedback from the leads are captured during viewings, or post viewings on their final decision-making
• Responsibilities include working with operation staff to ensure end moment check-in’s are accommodated. Working with the finance team to ensure invoices generated are correct and payments are made.
• Vigilant in reporting any damages noticed in the properties during viewings to the Sales Operations team.
• Collaborate with the team to arrange and independently conduct viewings
• Perform other duties as assigned.
