Duties
1. Cleaning/Disinfection of patient's bed upon transfer/discharge. To execute detailed cleaning and sanitization protocols within the assigned areas, adhering to strict infection control standards.
2. To execute detailed cleaning of patient areas including
- all furniture, room fixtures & fittings
- cleaning of underbeds
- disinfection of all high touch surfaces
- toilet washing
- floor dusting & mopping
- waste disposal
- adhoc duties assigned by Supervisor
3. Operate and maintain various cleaning machines and tools specific to hospital environments for project and periodic cleaning, disinfection.
4. Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure proper functionality and report any issues to maintenance or management.
5. Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, ensuring adequate stock of specialized disinfectants, sterilization agents, and other necessary materials.
6. Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and hospital policies related to infection control and sanitation procedures.
- Isolation Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Hand Hygiene knowledge and practices
- Other infection control practices
7. Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, equipment maintenance, and inventory usage.
8. Assist in adhoc tasks as necessary
Requirements
1. Candidates must be able to perform tasks and lift heavy weights, ie 30kg during each cleaning operation.
2. Able to work independently and efficient. Must be able to turn around each bed/room within a stipulated time based on KPI set
Work arrangements available:
1. 6 days’ work week
2. Rotating Shifts
