• Position Title: Technical Support Engineer
• Working Location: Ubi
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30 am – 5.30 pm; Saturday 8.30 am – 12.30 pm

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers for UPS, DC Systems, and Battery installations, commissions, repairs, and maintenance.
• Coordinate with end-users on-site to ensure smooth installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with customers and engineers to ensure safe execution of site work.
• Deliver training to customers on the startup and operation of UPS and DC Systems.
• Monitor and follow up on maintenance contracts to ensure work is completed promptly.

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering or its equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in the UPS and DC power industry.
• Willing to travel across Asia on short notice.
• Immediate availability and own transport required.

Job Description

Development and operation of ZIA & ZPA and other IT Security related services. This includes:

• Propose strategies to improve platform performance and stability
• Contribute to the design, implementation and support of team process automation strategies
• Collaborate with service stakeholders to analyse new features
• Implement and maintain improvements and features
• Analyse errors, incidents, troubleshoot user issues and initiate bugfixing actions to resolve them
• Maintain system technical documentation (security parameterisation, architecture description, feasibility analysis, requirements analysis, etc.)
• Participate in the evaluation and procurement of security systems and tools
• Ensure the application of best practices

The Successful Applicant

• At least 5 years of technical customer focused experience
• Windows and Linux Administrator skills
• Scripting experience with one or more of the following: Python, Bash/Shell, JavaScript
• Worked on GIT, REST, Regular Expressions
• Worked on with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
• Experience in interacting and coordinating with business users
• Good analytical thinking and solution-oriented approach
• Assess impact and urgency to prioritize efforts on a daily basis

• Having Unix shell scripting, RedHat Ansible knowledge, experience in AWS applications (CloudWatch, S3, RDS, EKS), IBM Connect Direct, IBM MQ, API Gateway, Apache Ignite, Solace PubSub+, ELK, micro services & containers, cloud-based architecture and/or DevSecOps technologies is a plus.
• Experience in Spring 4.x / 5.x / 6.x and Struts 2.x frameworks, SpringBoot and/or SpringBatch would be added advantage.
• Domain knowledge of Financial Clearing and Payment Systems and ISO20022 standard is a plus.

Job Scope:

• Assist users with technical issues related to software applications
• Analyze and troubleshoot software and application-related problems
• Create and maintain support process documentation and knowledge base articles
• Help with the installation, configuration, and updates of applications
• Work with development teams to report bugs and relay user feedback
• Provide training sessions to improve user understanding of software applications
• Track application performance metrics and user satisfaction
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level technical teams as needed
• Regularly communicate with clients to address their needs and provide updates
• Participate in testing new software versions or features prior to release

Requirements:

• Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechatronics
• Entry-level candidates are welcome; no prior experience required
• Passion for automation with a creative and adaptive mindset
• Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts effectively
• Product training will be provided
• Knowledge of PLC, Control/Automation, and IoT is advantageous
• 1 to 2 years of experience preferred
