Overview

At Gnosis by Lesaffre APAC, we are looking for a talented, dynamic, and motivated Regulatory Affairs Specialist to support the expansion of our business in APAC. Reporting to the APAC Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will be responsible for the regulatory compliance of our product portfolio and play a critical role providing strategic advice on regulatory risks and opportunities to support market growth and innovation in APAC.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of assigned Gnosis’ product portfolio with local regulations,
• Manage timely regional registration activities, including registration dossier preparation and proper documentation of submitted documents,

Financial Crime Analyst

Team Summary

Visa is looking for a Financial Crime Analyst based in Singapore to be part of Currencycloud’s Asia Pacific (APAC) New Business Onboarding team. Currencycloud is part of Visa Group entities and covers Visa’s regulated payment business within Money Movement Solutions (MMS) in APAC. Currencycloud is also consolidated under Visa Direct which streamlines all of Visa’s cross border payments under one unified branding. The Currencycloud APAC New Business Onboarding team is an essential partner to the MMS business. The team provides solutions-oriented advice to ensure timely client onboarding, address stakeholder queries promptly, complete tasks within Service Level Agreements (SLA), and perform all duties to a high standard.

What a Financial Crime Analyst does at Visa:

This role, based in Singapore, supports the Currencycloud APAC New Business Onboarding Manager with new client onboarding. It reports to the APAC New Business Onboarding Manager and is part of Visa’s expansion in the region.

The core responsibilities for this role are as follows:

• Responsible for new business onboarding applications for Financial Institutions, Payment Institutions and Corporates in a myriad of industries and jurisdictions

• Carrying out know-your-customer (KYC) and Know-your-business (KYB) checks.

• Reviewing client’s regulatory cover

• Performing Risk Assessment on new clients

• Assessing the effectiveness of each client’s AML framework

• Leading AML calls with clients including visual walkthroughs of their processes and systems

• Responsible for undertaking enhanced due diligence on customers that pose greater risks, including investigating the legitimacy of the funds used in the business relationship

• Proactively escalating cases to senior members of the team

• Complete Compliance administration (such as keeping client records up to date).

• Work cross-departmentally to proactively identify and resolve any queries.

What you will need:

To apply for this role, we are looking for someone who has bachelor’s degree or higher education qualification and at least 3 years of working experience within AML/CFT compliance functions in the financial / payments industry. Professional AML accreditation preferred.

We will also seek candidates with the following:  

• Understanding of Singapore’s Payment Services Act and all relevant subsidiary legislation, especially PSN01 on Prevention of Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism – Specified Payment Services. Knowledge of other payments regulations and AML typologies across APAC will be advantageous but not necessary.

Application Maintenance and Support (AMS) Management

1.Vendor management

• Assist Application Support Manager in all aspect of AMS.
• Work closely with vendor and various teams across organisation to onboard the vendor.
• Work with vendors based on contractual obligations to ensure SLA are met, resolve issues in a timely manner to minimise downtime and disruption to the business.
• Review vendors deliverables including classification of Change requests, Service requests, incident reports, monthly resource utilization reports, etc.
• Ensure monthly reports are submitted by vendors on timely manner and review their performances, prepare monthly service reports to the management.
• Ensure vendors adhere to processes and perform incident, release and change management.

2.End User Management

• Work with applications users by answering their enquiries, understand the business requirements and prioritize issue and change requests.

3.Contract management

• Monitor and track AMS contracts to ensure that applications are maintained and supported without any disruption.

4.Support procedure and standardisation

• Work with Application Support Manager to execute the support procedure and standardisation.
• Perform checks and compliances to Organization's Standard Operating Procedures related to maintenance scope.

5.Project Management

• Manage and work with vendor or inhouse team to deliver change requests and enhancements to application in timely manners.

Business as Usual (BAU) Scope

• Drives continued cost reductions and efficiencies across the portfolios supported by means of Root Cause Analysis reviews, Knowledge management, Performance tuning, and user training.
• Understanding of business processes across applications and perform periodic review on knowledge based to ensure essential details are captured by AMS.
• Providing essential support to applications which are not under the management of AMS.
• Participate in DR exercises at organisational level.

Job Requirements

• Degree in computer science, computer engineering or information technology
• Good understanding of ITIL methodologies related to AMS such as incidents, problems and change management. ITIL certification would be an advantage.
