Strong interpersonal skill is necessary for this role for building relationships with clients and effectively communicating with other members of the internal as well as the extended overseas team.

• Accountable for P&L of FFE Asia SEA, good management of vitality, adoption rate & growth ambition for the region, and drive and accelerate our market share growth with priority on regional clients like Wipro and other emerging brands.
• Identify and prioritize new business and specific customer opportunities through the establishment of internal and external networks, and through the sourcing and application of good market intelligence.
• Work and partner closely with project management team composed of perfumers, fragrance development, technical, consumer insights and marketing professionals.
• Work closely with other FFE Asia team members in China and India, creating synergies between sub regions connecting with FFE Asia PLU leader and leading a high performing & strong collaborative culture within the teams.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Plan, organize and manage the Procurement and Supplier Management processes for the assigned Plant under Power & Renewables located in Singapore.
• Liaise with Plant/Project Manager, Section Manager/Head and Engineer to understand their current and anticipated demand for goods, services and works. Integrate the technical requirements into the Procurement Plan and to support in new Tender sourcing.
• Engage in sourcing, evaluating and qualifying of new suppliers. Conduct performance evaluation for existing suppliers on an annual basis.
• Identify and develop alternative suppliers and support cost reduction programmes.
• Handle and manage RFQ/RFP, commercial evaluations, price and T&Cs negotiation, PO/Contract award and PO/Contract administration to final delivery and PO close out - Ensure the Company's best interest is consistently achieved.
• Procure, administer, develop and manage all tenders, contracts in accordance with safety and budgetary requirements, technical specifications, contract and procurement guidelines.
• Ensure that the procurement process is in adherence to Company and Client requirements, Company policies and procedures.
• Work with applicable staff to research and resolve supplier issues which has been escalated and/or advise the assigned Plant as appropriate.
• Build and develop relationships with suppliers and contractors, manage relationships and assist in building effective partnerships.
• Undertake tasks, activities and assignments at the direction of the Procurement Manager.
• Ensure that the monthly procurement reports and cost saving / cost avoidance statistics are reported on-time to the Procurement Manager.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering or equivalent business studies with more than 3 years of procurement experience, preferably with experience in Plants Operations & Maintenance environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English).

• A good team player who is able to build rapport with a diverse workforce in a multi-cultural setting and work well with other departments and internal stakeholders.
