-Resolve operational issues and disputes promptly or prevent it from even happening.

-Maintain constant communication with managers, staffs and merchants to ensure proper operations of the company with brief summary to the Management.

-Submit proposals or suggestions with supporting back up examples which can improve the workflow and increase profit margins within the organisation.

-Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance protocols, which include a proper onboarding documentation process for all departments (Operational Handbook).

-Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company's internal capacity.

-Overall responsible for the daily operations, including physical operations - receiving, storing, picking, packing, inventory management and worker/shift management.

-Meet warehouse operational SLA's by general management, problem-solving and employee coaching/training.

-On-site coordination with operation backend teams to ensure operational efficiency, safety and accuracy.

-Analysis of the data reports to identify performance bottlenecks and improve the performance.

-Continuously improve the throughout and attain a sustainable level of delivery performance improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Source for Mechanical/Electro-Mechanical/Electronics components to support new projects
• Able to perform cost analysis and select best supplier to meet the product requirement
• Responsible in managing the relationship with the suppliers for all commercial issues
• Perform cost reduction, VA/VE activities, etc. to achieve the KPIs set by management such as the material cost reduction target
• To be able to implement supply management strategies and activities such as VMI, JIT, EDI capabilities, etc.
• Be the escalation point when there are delivery issues during the MP and NPI stages
• Management of SAP data integrity

Requirements:

• At least a Diploma in Engineering
• Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in the EMS or electronic manufacturing environment
• Experience in sourcing, purchasing or procuring of Mechanical/Electro-Mechanical/Electronics components
• Strong knowledge in Mechanical/Electro-Mechanical/Electronics commodities
• Knowledge in SAP will be an added advantage
