Summary of the role

GlobalSign is seeking a Sales Engineer for its Sales/Solutions Engineering team. This position is the primary technical resource for the GlobalSign APAC sales force. The individual will play a critical role in establishing credibility and confidence with GlobalSign’s customers, by demonstrating and proving GlobalSign’s value through its products and services. The ideal person for this role should be a true team player that has strong interpersonal skills and is very comfortable with a collaborative approach to problem solving. Primary Responsibilities

•Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or comparable due to experience or be in possession of Cybersecurity and IT Certifications (i.e. Comptia, (ISC)2, GIAC, etc.)

Qualifications:

• GCE O Level / A Level / Diploma holders seeking internship / contract employment whilst waiting for results
• Prior experience in retail, e-commerce, or sales administrative roles.
• Previous experience and genuine interest in retail customer service is essential.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Lazada, Shopee etc.) is a plus.
• Computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and familiarity with inventory management or ERP systems.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

Working Hours:

• 3-5 Day work week (up to max of 45 hours per week)
• Must be willing to work in-store during retail hours, including weekends and selected public holidays.

What you'll do:

As an Institutional Sales Service Coordinator, your role will be pivotal in supporting the Relationship Management and Sales & Marketing teams. You will be responsible for managing a wide range of operational and administrative tasks, from coordinating travel arrangements to maintaining client data records. Your ability to anticipate needs, communicate effectively, and maintain organisation will be key to your success. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to assist with marketing activities, further expanding your skill set.

• Manage the administrative and operations functions of the Institutional Advisors team
• Coordinate travel, and courier arrangements for business trips and conferences
• Assist in the production of presentation materials
• Maintain client data records on Salesforce - C360 local system for all sales and business activities in Asia ex-Japan region
• Support the team in marketing activities such as sponsorship of industry and client conferences, preparation of marketing materials and all logistics relating to such activities
• Perform complex administrative and secretarial duties to ensure smooth office operations

What you bring:

You should have a minimum diploma in Business related studies and at least two years' secretarial or administrative experience.
