• Review and analyzes quotes with Strategic Sourcing Manager and Material Quote Manager to ensure that proposal submission is consistent with the supply chain strategy, ability to supply and customer’s needs.
• Obtain feedback for customer proposals and identify changes in process, tools and execution to improve future submissions.
• Exercise a good working knowledge of materials, assembly and fabrication processes, and sources of supply to support a competitive supply chain strategy for each quote proposal.
• Perform other special projects for Material Quote Manager as necessary.
• Ensure all sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately.
• Able to create and edit 3D solid model from 2D drawings.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma holder with technical background preferred.
• At least more than 5 years of experience in the EMS/Manufacturing environment.
• At least 2 years exposure with components sourcing and fabrication parts in high mix low volume environment.
• Proficient in SAP will be an added advantage.
• Good analytical skill and negotiation skills.
• Good time management skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage store / inventory of materials and all items including stock locations;
• Update and maintain accurate records of inventory;
• Develop and implement control measures to existing operational procedures in stock movements;
• Ensure stock location accuracy for ease of access;
• Ensure proper documentation for all inventory records including inventory reports; stocks movements and stock levels;
• Source and procure equipment, tools, materials, spares, etc.as required
• Any other adhoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Supply Chain Management or equivalent;
• At least 8-10 years’ working experience in marine industry, preferably in Inventory and Warehousing
• Able to supervise and manage storeman
• Organised, meticulous, accurate and detailed in all aspects of work
• Prepared to work outside office hours as necessary
