What You Bring

Role Purpose:

The role supports the Freight Manager, to ensure our imported bar feedstock needs as defined through our S&OP process, are delivered in full and on-time, as well as the most cost efficient and effective freight and logistics service that leverages our volume, demand planning, mill relationships and market insights.

Role Accountabilities:

1. Assist in negotiating and securing shipment, coordinating with ship owners, brokers, and other stakeholders.

Position Overview:

Squarepoint is looking for a Platform Compute and Storage (PCS) Specialist to join our growing global team. The candidate will work alongside our global team to design, build, and maintain both compute and storage services that are continuously scaling to support the growth of the company. This role requires in depth knowledge of Linux platforms and distributed storage systems, including performance optimization and capacity management. This candidate will ideally have experience with bare metal, hypervisors, containers, and public cloud platforms. Your day to day could consist of hardware and software installation and configuration, monitoring and alerting improvements and configurations, automation and tool development, and much more.

• Manage systems efficiently at scale through standardization, automation, testing, and in depth monitoring
• Enforce development standards for source control, testing, and continuous integration for infrastructure, OS, patches, and configuration management
• Manage a distributed compute environment and several petabyte-scale storage systems
• Install, manage, and monitor the Linux operating system (RHEL based)
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues throughout the stack
• Work with business owners to regularly re-prioritize the book of work, while delivering both tactical and long term objectives

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a technology infrastructure role including Linux administration
• Experience working with configuration management driven administration using tools such as Chef or Ansible
• Experience with distributed storage and different storage protocols (NFS, GPFS, WEKA)
• Proficient in Python, or other high level language (Go, Rust, etc)
• Experience with modern software development: version control, agile development, ci/cd
• Observability in distributed systems (ex. Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience working with various cloud providers (AWS and GCP).

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounts Payable
   • Manage supplier invoices, payments within SAP.
   • Ensure timely recording of transactions and reconciliation of supplier accounts.
2. Payment Processing
   • Prepare and process vendor payments, including domestic and international transfers.
   • Ensure all payments are approved according to company policies and scheduled promptly.
   • Monitor payment batches, resolve discrepancies, and manage bank reconciliations.
   • Maintain accurate records of payment transactions and supporting documentation.
   • Reconcile supplier SOA and prepare monthly supplier aging reports.
   • Support internal and external audit processess.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma in Accounts/ Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-4 years of accounting experience, with specializing in SAP (FI/CO modules) is a plus.

Client Service Group, KYC Team (12-months contract)

• Job Responsibilities:
  • To perform KYC due diligence of new relationships and existing clients (periodical revisions) for Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Malaysia, Australia, Taiwan and Japan entities as a Maker or Checker;
  • To conduct checks and due diligence on these clients primarily looking out for PEP/Adverse news/information that may be detrimental to the reputation of the bank;
  • To liaise and coordinate with Front Office and Client Office Team on the collection of the KYC documents/information;
  • To escalate complex cases to APAC Compliance and/or Head Office Financial Security for advice, clarification or validation where applicable;
  • To provide guidance and sharing of KYC knowledge to the junior team members in the team and other departments;

Required Skills:
