Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Strategy Development: Formulate and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and enhance market share within the oil and gas sector.
• Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by establishing relationships with potential clients and stakeholders in the industry.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain robust relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Sales Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training as needed.
• Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.
• Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing, and terms with clients, ensuring alignment with company objectives while meeting customer expectations.

• Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with marketing, engineering, and product development teams to align sales strategies with product offerings.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is required. An MBA is preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management within the oil and gas industry is essential. Proven success in business development is a must.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of oil and gas operations, products, services, and market dynamics.
• Sales Skills: Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets through effective strategy implementation and relationship management. Strong negotiation skills are critical.
• Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and industry events.

About the company:

Our client is a leading medical devices company seeking for a Regional Channel Sales Manager, APAC to manage and expand the distribution channel network within key countries to drive business growth and to develop business relationships with end customers directly.

Responsibilities:

• You will develop and implement plans to be the brand champion for our client.
• You understand market drivers and dynamics to craft relevant strategies to drive business and meet assigned countries’ specific goals and strategies.
• You will appoint, negotiate and close business deals with channel partners as well as perform market analysis and develop suitable pricing strategies.
• You will collaborate with cross functional teams to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Develop client relationships and strengthen industry partnerships.

Requirements

The Sales Strategy Intern will be supporting the APAC Sales Strategy team across Singapore and Sydney. This position will play an active role in analyzing market dynamics across Asia as well as contributing to the execution of commercial deals by providing analytical support (e.g. benchmarking, performance analysis).

Your responsibilities may span the following areas:

• Monitor and conduct research on the competitive landscape and market trends, particularly in the new media and digital space.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of market intelligence and visualise data into key succinct points.
• Work closely with Sales teams to prepare drafts financials, benchmarks and performance analysis for commercial deals.
• Prepare overviews / business update presentations for Management.
• Work in cross-functional teams across various departments on other strategic initiatives.
