• Manage day to day issues including daily health checks of applications and processes, working closely with end-users, development staff, and Infrastructure teams, to prioritize and resolve and/or mitigate outages.
• Investigate production issues and provide a workaround to the user to move the business forward. And share L2 analysis to the L3 team for further investigation.
• Monitor production activities/processes to ensure timely and effective reporting, tracking, follow-up and communication of problems to internal and external clients, technical resources, and executives.
• Implement continuous process improvement, including but not limited to, policy, procedures, and production monitoring.
• Help in identifying, coordinating, and implementing initiatives/projects and activities that create efficiencies and optimize technical processing
• Develop and maintain relationships with technical staff, end-users, and clients.
• Carefully evaluate alternative risks and solutions before taking action to provide timely resolution.
• Perform Disaster Recovery (DR) exercise for multiple applications across all country on every year.
• Ensure end of day batch process is getting completed successfully for multiple applications across the country on every day.
• Generate a one-time report as per user request/audit request.

Key Requiirementts

• Minimum 8 years of experience working in the Banking IT industry with Java, J2EE, Struts, Spring, Oracle technologies & Unix. Added advantage if experienced in loan origination application.
• Able to work with a sense of urgency under multiple deadlines and successfully organize and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Capable in the prompt incident and problem management provides short term workaround and long term solutions wherever is applicable, in order to maintain system maximum uptime and availability
• Strong in change management control (knowledge in ALDON is preferred), good documentation skills and high problem-solving skills. Strong team player. Flexible and able to coordinate team effectively both in and outside of office hours;

Understanding of ITIL methodology would be highly advantageous

Responsibilities:

- Provide Pre-Sales consulting support for Sales

- Prepare Business Analysis, consultation, proposal, presentation, implementation plan, etc. to support the Solution case.

- Able to understand business processes & apply analysis techniques to offer a suitable solution, which may include both hardware & software.

- Collaborate with internal solution teams on project implementation, e.g. Refining the requirement for SOW preparation, system design, system development, project implementation, etc.

- Provide, a presentation, and solution demo to the customer

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Fintech, Operations Research, Information Technology, Business and Finance, Computer Science or related field.

- Good understanding of FinTech and the applications of state-of-the-art technology.

- At least 5 years of working experience as a system designer, business analyst, system analyst or solution consultant.

- Possess in-depth knowledge of the latest technology, such as Java, API, Big Data, Cloud Computing, etc.

- Excellent communication and support skills, ability to articulate and drive discussion across business functions and stakeholders.

- Excellent problem-solving and logical thinking.

- Experience in Banking, Financial or Wealth Management technology and solutions is strongly regarded.

We are seeking a Technical lead and Application Production Support professional to manage support activities for Olympic (Core Banking) and related systems. The role involves handling incidents, service requests, end-user queries, and maintaining system reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Provide L1/L2 application support to end-users.
• Provide technical guidance to support teams.
• Escalate unresolved tickets to appropriate teams following established procedures.
• Deliver excellent customer service to build trust and positive relationships with users.
• Ensure adherence to Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and roadmap targets.
• Maintain and update technical knowledge.
• Support disaster recovery (DR), business continuity (BCP) exercises, and patching cycles.

Ideal candidate:

• Basic troubleshooting skills on AS400 and Unix.
• Strong knowledge of SQL queries and data analysis.
• Familiarity with production support tools like ServiceNow and JIRA is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse group of stakeholders.
• Proactive, positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset.
• 7+ years of experience in IT production L1/L2 support within the banking industry.
• 2+ years of experience as IT Technical lead
• Knowledge and experience with banking products such as investment instruments, corporate actions, loans, deposits, remittances, and foreign exchange.
• Experience with Olympic banking system is a strong advantage.
