Responsibilities

• Assist to manage the company compliance programs and systems. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of compliance controls.
• Conduct regular compliance reviews and risk assessments. Identify and report compliance risks and breaches. Coordinate with internal and external auditors during compliance reviews.
• Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees. Promote a culture of compliance within the organization. Provide guidance to staff on compliance-related issues.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Support the communicate of changes in regulations and their impact on the company.
• Assist in drafting and updating compliance policies and procedures. Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records and documentation. Ensure that all policies and procedures are well-documented and communicated across the organization.
• Investigate and resolve compliance issues and incidents. Develop corrective action plans and ensure prompt resolution of compliance matters. Report compliance issues to management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Business with at least 3-5 years of audit/compliance experience
• Experienced in investigations and familiar with ABAC requirements, from industries like healthcare, with experience auditing Gifts & Hospitality, Donations, Sponsorships, anti-bribery and corruption risks is preferred
• Confident to work and communicate with all levels of personnel, from entry level to top management
• Clear thinker, pay attention to details , adaptable to new software and technology
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A self-starter as well as a good team player who is able to work independently and high level of integrity

Job description

We are recruiting for a number of legal documentation drafting roles within our Structured Products team at Delta Capita in Singapore. Our team provide legal documentation drafting and issuance support to cross-asset structured products businesses at a range of tier one Investment Banks.

The roles will suit professionals with between 5 and 10 years experience and the successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Draft and review legal documentation (Pricing Supplements, Final Terms, and ancillary documentation) for structured product transactions;
• Manage a pipeline queue of transactions to strict deadlines;
• Partner with the legal department when required to review legal documentation and templates for new or adapted payoffs;
• Initiate process improvements and leverage technology for document automation;
• Build and maintain strong relationships with client contacts in Operations, Structuring, Legal and Trading.

Job requirements

Essential Experience / Skills

• Experience within the financial service industry drafting issuance documentation for securities or structured products, or complex or non-standard derivatives;
• Experience working on structured products and/or derivative transactions;
• Admitted as a solicitor
• Highly organized and extremely detail oriented;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Ability to prioritise workflow in order to meet deadlines;
• Past experience of working as part of a team and understanding the impact that delivery of your work has on your colleagues;
• High attention to detail and pride in delivering high quality work;
• A strong work ethic proven by previous working experience;
• Word, Excel, Outlook (or similar) skills to a high standard.
