Job Purpose

The Heavy Automobile Technical Specialist will be responsible for carrying out panel beating, spray painting, livery and supportive roles in the workshop.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Panel beating of damage surface, paint preparation, spray painting of heavy vehicles such as 12m buses, trucks, engineering plant and any surface requires spray painting by the supervisor and management.

· Attach livery decals on vehicles surfaces.

· Support for operations such as items removal, installation, fabrication and repairs.

· Attend to ad hoc job by management.

· Responsible for personal safety and work in a safe manner in workplace.

Qualifications and Work Experience

· Experienced in surface preparations and paint preparations (mixing and thinning).

· Technical institute in Automotive or equivalent.

· Min. 5 years of experience in heavy vehicle body works.

Skills and Competencies

· Good hands-on skills.

· Good discipline in carrying out assigned task responsibly and on-time.

· Self-motivated, good working attitude and co-operative.

· Willing to perform over-time as and when required to churn out vehicle on-time.

What you will do:

• Demonstrated ability to work directly with Customer at all levels within the organization from Process Development scientist to CEO, CFO.
• Demonstrated superior problem solving and interpersonal and account management skills in a commercial environment
• Proven track record in successfully leading, negotiating and executing complex deals concerning intellectual property assets, with the capability to provide deal summaries and drafting term sheets for exclusive license agreements
• Demonstrated aptitude towards workflow selling and proven experience selling services with long sales cycles
