This role covers the commodity function within the Metals department.

• Contribute to product trading capability to support liquidity for clients
• Manage Marex market risk for product set within group risk appetite and defined risk limits whilst generating positive returns
• Working efficiently and supporting with making efficiencies, including but not limited to collaborating with data, research and analytics colleagues to identify opportunities for hedging strategies and clients
• Collaborate with sales/broking functions to originate hedging solutions and structured transactions, with a cross product selling mind set
• Collaboration with central operations functions which support the trading role including but not limited to Operations and Technology
• Strategizing to increase P&L and achieve the target set by the desk manager, requiring ongoing analysis of markets and products in the market
• Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements
• Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with
• Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values
• At all times complying with the MAS Code of Conduct
• Carrying out regulatory activities under the Marex Financial trading books
• Liaising with clients when called upon

• To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/ or your supervisor as required
• To escalate risk events immediately
• To provide input to risk management processes, as required.

• Minimum 2-Years Experience working in and knowledge of a commodity product area
• Minimum 2-Years Experience of the infrastructural support required to efficiently support commodity business lines
• Minimum 2-Years Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this
• Minimum 2-Years Experience in operating on electronic market making infrastructure
• Minimum 2-Years Experience in risk managing of commodity portfolios
