The successful applicant will join an expanding team to work on projects in the field of Psychosocial support for familial caregivers. The applicant will be working in the research lab “Action Research for Community Health (ARCH)”, and the primary study involves an intervention study that develops and test the efficacy of a novel culinary programme to support familial caregivers of individuals with cancer. Public Holidays

• The Centre will remain closed on all public holidays EXCEPT Labour Day and Vesak Day. The board examinations are held in May/June and we are duty bound to our students to remain open on these two public holidays to assist them in their final examination preparation.
• Employees who work on Public Holidays (9:30AM - 6:30PM) will receive twice their basic rate of pay for work on that day.

The Institute for Functional Intelligent Materials (I-FIM) is looking for postdoctoral research fellows to work on topics in machine learning and its scientific applications. The successful candidate will work with Principal Investigators in I-FIM on these topics.

The main responsibilities of the position include conducting cutting-edge research in machine learning theory and algorithm research, with applications to materials and quantum sciences. Topics include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Data-driven multiscale modelling
• Approximation and optimisation theory of new architectures with applications in dynamics
