The Role

The candidate will play an important role as Technical SME in the development team to support the digitization projects using BPM / Workflow system. The candidate is expected to be involved in all technical aspects of project delivery and/or maintenance from assessing requirements, assessing technical solutions, developing solutions, testing to system implementation. The candidate is also expected to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyse, design, develop, customize, implement, and maintain the assigned systems.
• Work closely with Team Leader to gather requirements from the customer, perform technical impact analysis and estimate effort for development.
• Prepare and/or update and review technical documents.
• Manage offshore development teams to ensure technical standards and quality are met.
• Perform code review to detect any potential coding problems.
• Perform unit test and system integration test, support user acceptance test.
• Prepare release procedure and support production implementation.
• Troubleshoot issues and problems to provide workarounds.
• Perform root cause analysis and come up with preventive measures.
• All other duties and tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology with min. 5 years' experience in software development using Java technologies (J2EE, Spring Framework) and front-end technologies (JavaScript/Angular/AngularJS), preferably in a bank or financial institution.
• Experience in working with offshore team is an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience in deploying, and maintaining, cloud-native Java applications on Microsoft Azure is an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience in Newgen BPM system preferred.
• Good knowledge in SDLC methodologies (Waterfall and/or Agile).
• Good presentation, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proactive and self-motivated.
• Ability to contribute individually and collaborate well in a team.
• Strong sense of accountability and ownership.

We are looking for one (1) Research Fellow for research activities in the following areas:

1. Theory and computational modeling of electromagnetism in media, plasmonic systems, and metamaterials, including cavity quantum electrodynamics.
2. Inverse design in nanophotonics or quantum nanophotonics.
3. Application of plasma modeling tools like particle-in-cell and magnetohydrodynamics to plasmonic or excitonic systems.
4. Study novel optoelectronic effects in low-dimensional materials and time crystals.

The applicants should have a Master's degree (for the Senior Research Assistant position) or a Ph.D. degree (for the Research Fellow position) in Physics, Applied Physics, Engineering, or Applied Mathematics. Preference will be given to those with a strong publication record, open-minded, independent, and able to collaborate with other team members and experimental partners. Ph.D. students (graduating within 6 months) with relevant expertise are also encouraged to apply. Senior Research Assistants are expected to pursue Ph.D. degrees upon completing the contract if deemed suitable.

Technical requirements:

1. Ability to formulate physical models and solve the formulated equations analytically or numerically.
2. Strong foundation in numerical simulation, including developing and modifying existing codes to include multiple physics.
3. Solid foundation in electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, solid-state physics, material sciences, and computational methods like finite-difference-time-domain, finite-element, particle-in-cell, etc.

  Leverage on machine learning models application opportunity in Fab, Die probe, Die-to-Reel, Assembly, Test, Tape & Reel process for total continuous improvement & innovation.
  
• Failure Mode Analysis & Customer Risk/RMA MitigationEnhance product quality & reliability by developing predictive models that assess the potential quality risk to customers. Use insights from these models for disposition decision making to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  Collaborate with quality, process, product engineer on in-depth failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) using historical and real-time data to predict and mitigate potential defects.
  Collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement corrective actions based on predictive insights.
  
• Additional Responsibilities:Track wafer and package yield trends on a daily basis
  Leverage 2DID and Die Level Traceability to perform novel analyses and move yield/quality issues upstream to wafer level whenever possible
  Identify opportunities for cost reduction
  Generate analyses aimed at highlighting device sensitivities and interactions between design/fab/assy/test
  Leverage all available test points to detect anomalies, shifts, drifts, outliers, maverick events as close to the Point of Occurrence as possible

  Monitor/Report on KPI's and facilitate data-driven decision making
  

Requirements:

• Domain Expertise:Bachelor’s or Master degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with specialized knowledge in semiconductor manufacturing processes. Experience in predictive analytics for yield and quality in semiconductor fabs is highly desirable
  
• Technical Skills:Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, with preferred experience in machine learning libraries and statistical modeling. Strong background in data analysis, including the use of big data technologies and cloud platforms
  
• Experience with Semiconductor Manufacturing:At least 3 years of experience working in semiconductor manufacturing, particularly in roles focused on process monitoring, yield improvement, and quality control. Familiarity with Fab, Die probe, and Assembly processes is essential
  
• Analytical and Predictive Modeling Expertise:Proven track record in developing and deploying predictive models for yield analysis and quality assurance. Experience with tools like JMP, Minitab, or similar for statistical process control (SPC) and predictive maintenance is a plus.
  
• Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication:Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with process engineers, quality assurance teams, and other stakeholders. Ability to translate complex data insights into actionable strategies that improve product yield and quality.

Research Scientist for Research on Wireless Power Transfer

Project Description

The project is to investigate the electromagnetic mechanisms for a compact, efficient, and wideband antenna/radiator suitable for wireless energy harvesting (WEH)/WPT. This exploration will span both conductive and magnetoelectric (ME) antennas. Our study will consider WIFI, power from base stations, and WPT as potential power sources.

Job Scopes:

• Literature review of the research domain
