RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing research models and methods for robust and safe reinforcement learning
• Prototyping the developed methods
• Evaluating the developed methods on safe reinforcement learning tasks such as blocks world, robotics
• Ensuring these methods are integrated into the overall showcase for the project

• Minimum PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or closely related computing focused disciplines from a reputable institution of higher learning

The SMU Urban Institute, launched in early 2024, is a university-level research institute dedicated to advancing an interdisciplinary research agenda.
