As part of IME’s Photonics & Sensors Department, the candidate will take the lead for the development of advanced photonics integration. Qualifications:

IME is leading the effort to establish the industry leading Silicon Carbide R&D program. This program aims to advance 200mm Silicon Carbide technologies in various areas, such as epitaxy, device design, process integration & fabrication, and power module packaging. The main objective is to drive disruptive innovations in power device research, with a specific focus on >1.2KV power MOSFETs. These innovations are intended to enhance automotive technologies, vehicle electrification, safety measures, sustainable energy grids, and industrial automation. Key aspects to demonstrate for this role include high power device design, novel device concepts, doping design, gate oxidation, and wide-bandgap process simulations. To achieve this, we are seeking individual with extensive industry experience in using Synopsys/Silvaco TCAD simulator, relevant device characterization skills, design simulation development abilities, a willingness to mentor junior staffs, and strong interpersonal skills. The candidate will contribute to the wide-bandgap & Silicon Carbide team by utilizing their device knowledge, guiding team on device characterization, implementing state-of-art Silicon Carbide power MOSFETs (Planar, Trench & Super-Junction), and innovative novel power MOSFETs for future applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• TCAD modeling & simulation, novel high power device design, simulation, and device characterization

• Design and simulate high voltage Silicon Carbide MOSFETs (planar, trench, SJ MOSFET, IGBT) with a blocking voltage of >1.2K using Synopsys/Silvaco simulator

• Design & simulate practical and effective junction terminations

• Provide guidances on device structure, optimizing cell, power/performance analysis, process risk assessment, and recommendations for experimental split and improvement

• Develop and apply fundamental MOS device physics-based TCAD modelling & electric field management to calculate band structure, carrier transport, blocking voltage,
switching properties, and thermal management for vertical power devices in the presence of interface state density, gate oxide defects, and defects in Silicon Carbide

• Model transport and carrier scattering in devices operating in extreme ambient conditions

• Collaborate with diverse teams, including process integration, characterization, and circuit design engineers, to analyze and troubleshoot device-related issues during
development

• Serve as a resource for colleagues with less experience, and lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled High-Speed IO Modeling designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electrical or Computer Engineering (Masters/PhD) , with a focus on high speed circuit modeling, statistical analysis, jitter analysis, digital signal processing, and signal integrity. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing IO performance models for chiplet-based high-speed communication protocols and generating complete high-speed link performance matrices based on advanced packaging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop IO performance models (Tx, Rx) for chiplet-based high-speed communication protocols such as UCIe, AIB, and others.
• Create complete high-speed link models by integrating IO performance models with advanced packaging interconnects.

The successful candidate will work with Associate Professor Wang Xuesen & Professor Wee Thye Shen, Andrew on experimental studies of epitaxial moiré superstructures under a project on the Investigation of Practical Epitaxial Moiré Superstructures with Novel Electronic Properties.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

• To identify several overlayer-substrate material combinations suitable for epitaxial moiré superlattices
• To carry out epitaxial growth of the overlayer that forms a moiré superlattice on a substrate in ultrahigh vacuum (UHV) chamber
• To analyze the atomic and electronic structures of epitaxial moiré superlattices using scanning tunneling microscopy and spectroscopy (STM/STS)
• To analyze experimental data, comparing with computational results and draft manuscripts for publication
• To provide guidance and assistance to the PhD and Master students doing similar experimental studies in this project.

Qualifications

• Qualifications / Discipline: PhD degree in Physics, Chemistry or Materials Science.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

• Develop and perform microbiological, biochemical, biophysical and cellular assays e.g. bacteria culture, flow cytometry, ELISA and Western blotting.
• Analyze and present experimental data in a clear and concise manner, demonstrating a good understanding of its utilization and implications in the context of drug discovery.
• Support laboratory housekeeping, purchasing, safety check, SOP writing and other administrative and compliance-related processes.

Qualifications

Scope of Works :

1. Attend to operational and maintenance matters in Science Laboratories & Art Rooms;

MedTech Catapult is a national initiative for accelerating the development of high-value MedTech projects. The product development unit is responsible for supporting the medical device development cycle with project management, quality, regulatory and clinical affairs capabilities.

The Clinical Affairs Senior Manager will report to the Deputy Director, Product Development.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and management of clinical studies to ensure demonstration of the safety, performance, and benefits of a medical device and adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Assist with the identification of experts to co-create clinical testing, validation and adoption strategies across local and international healthcare institutions.
• Support the collection of clinical insights, identification of the intended use and translation into product development requirement specifications.
• Foster positive relationships with healthcare professionals, clinical partners, and key opinion leaders, to ensure smooth collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and refine clinical study protocols, ensuring alignment with product objectives and regulatory expectations and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clinical sites, investigators, and key stakeholders, overseeing site selection, initiation, monitoring, and close-out activities.
• Establish and develop the implementation of medical technology guidance adoption strategies, working with a broad range of stakeholders including front-line clinicians and other healthcare and operations staff, suppliers of products and other industry partners.
• Work with Quality team to ensure compliance with regulatory submissions, approvals and reporting, keeping abreast of evolving regulatory landscapes to guide clinical strategy.
• Work closely with key agencies and stakeholders to seek informed opinion and evidence that will strengthen the design and execution of the clinical validation and adoption process.
• Assist with the identification and management of project risks and develop practical and rational proposals to address issues.
• Compile and evaluate evidence in clinical evaluation reports and conduct after-action review.
• Balance the workload of multiple projects with different approaches and at different stages.

Requirements

• PhD or Degree in relevant field, preferably in medicine, biology, pharmacy, or chemistry degree
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of clinical governance, clinical study research and ethics compliance, confidentiality issues, research methods and guidelines, data protection, intellectual property rights etc
• Demonstrated ability to translate scientific, clinical and safety research studies in an effective credible manner
• Ability to maintain a command of a large amount of scientific information across multiple products and make a decision regarding clinical evidence of importance.
• Demonstrate excellent project management skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
