We are looking for a full-time pre-doctoral student to work as a Research Associate on INSEAD’s Singapore campus. This position is ideal for recent Master’s graduates looking to develop their research skills, with a view of applying to a PhD program. We are looking for someone who is good at managing data and in particular using software packages such as Stata, Python, and R. Ideally, they would also have experience working on a research project in the social sciences. The Research Associate core mission is to assist the school’s Strategy faculty in conducting research.

TASKS:

• Assist with quantitative research projects in the areas of strategy and management.
• Extract data from conventional databases (e.g., CRSP, Compustat, etc.) or hand-collect and clean data from company documents for analysis.
• Manage and clean data using software packages such as Stata, Python, and R. Proficiency in Stata is strongly preferred.
• Conduct statistical data analysis and assist with the interpretation, write-up, and dissemination of findings.
• Help with reviews of prior literature.

Purpose of the role

The project coordinator/manager will play a key role in dietary intervention studies by actively managing and coordinating diet and lifestyle intervention studies in GloW. Responsibilities include development, implementation and monitoring of meal plans, educating participants as needed, collecting dietary data, and performing administrative duties to ensure the studies’ success and compliance. The staff will work closely with Principal Investigators of intervention studies, collaborate closely with the research team, food service team, and other relevant stakeholders, as well as undertake other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by the Centre’s Director as needed.

(1) Intervention study coordinator:

• Recruit and interview study participants for the intervention study

Candidate should stay updated on RF/mmWave GaN market trends and conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis on companies, competitors and the market for actionable insights. This may involve conducting SWOT analyses to enable NGTC to come up with a strategic plan to optimise business and research collaborations.

Candidate will also be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote NGTC’s capabilities to interested parties.

Candidate will be required to work alongside various internal and external stakeholders and teams to develop NGTC’s strong value propositions and assist with market intelligence to shape the NGTC’s strategies.

Candidate will be required to carry out account management of companies for NGTC to strengthen customer relationships.

Candidate will be required to coordinate and engage with internal stakeholders such as A*STAR’s Industry and Enterprise Group, Institute of Microelectronics or various other public sector agencies.

As part of IME Integrated Circuit Design and System Department, we are seeking a candidate with relevant experience in analog integrated circuit design. This candidate will contribute to developing analog circuit blocks e.g. low-power operational amplifiers, voltage/current references, and voltage regulators based on thorough topology analysis. This candidate will work closely with other team members for the circuit design, test verification, as well as system integration and validation for a broad range of innovative sensor systems.

Role & Responsibilities

• Circuit schematic design and simulation, layout supervision, pre-tapeout design verification, test plan development and chip measurement
• Work together with teams to investigate novel circuit/system solutions to create new inventions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering
• Good understanding of CMOS analog IC design methodologies
• Familiar with analog IC design and verification flow
• Industry experience would be a plus
• Familiar with the IC test equipment such as oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.
