Job Description
The department of Philosophy at the National University of Singapore invites applicants for a ten month Visiting Research Associate Professorship starting in early 2024. The position is affiliated with a project on decision-dependence in normative philosophy, aiming to develop a general framework for making decisions when the evaluation of options depends on or is affected by which option is chosen. Applicants should have at least one area of specialization, and ideally more than one, in a normative field, including ethics, rationality, epistemology, and/or decision theory. The Visiting Research Associate Professorship is a purely research position; no teaching duties are required.
